A promise (Past - 12)

As they returned home that evening, Nathan felt a sense of pride wash over him. Despite the initial shock and uncertainty, they had come together as a family and a company, united in their pursuit of excellence. And as they looked towards the future, Nathan knew that whatever obstacles they may encounter, they would overcome them together, stronger and more resilient than ever before.

The next morning, Nathan’s father got a call asking him to reach the place, as the chaos was just increasing and not going down. Therefore, he made the decision to depart and assess the situation. “I am coming along with you,” Nathan’s mother declared in a tone that states that there is no place for any kind of argument or disagreement.

By that time, Natah hadn't come back from his morning jogging routine so they both packed everything and waited for him. His mother thought to give him a call, but his father stopped her and said,
