Fighting for life (Past - 14)

In that moment of utter despair, Nathan realized that no amount of training, no measure of skill, could ever prepare him for the pain of losing the ones he loved most. But amidst the darkness, there flickered a glimmer of hope—the belief that, together, they would find a way to carry on, to honor the memory of those they had lost, and to emerge stronger than ever before.

He stood there, waiting for them to come back into their senses. By the time Nathan arrived, the doctors had already left because they needed to attend to another patient, which prevented them from having time to speak with him. An hour later, the doctors were free to speak with Nathan, and he was there to meet him.

“Hello doctor, He introduced himself, "I am Natahn Amber, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Amber," and the doctor looked at him with mixed emotions. Nathan's red and swollen eyes revealed his broken state as he struggled to maintain self-control.
