A sleek black car drove into an opulent compound.
People were already gathered there in the compound to welcome the person that had just arrived. The air was thick with anticipation as the car came to a halt. The front seat door opened and a middle-aged man stepped outside and swiftly made his way to the passenger's seat. He pulled the door open and immediately bowed down his head as he waited patiently for the individual inside the car to step outside. A few moments later, a striking young man emerged from the car. The man seemed to be in his early twenties. Curly brown hair that was neatly combed, and he was clad in an expensive brown suit. The aura around the man was filled with confidence, as he stepped down from the car, noise erupted in the compound. Journalists and paparazzi swiftly made their way towards him, each and everyone of them eager to ask him some questions. "Mr. Zed, it's so good to see you here. I heard you are finally done with the creation of your first automatic car, what do you have to say about this?" A female reporter spoke up, and her microphone stretched forth. "What was the most challenging aspect in creating the car and what do you have for young aspiring engineers out there?" The man, known as Zed, paid no attention to their questions as he kept advancing forward, heading towards the opulent building a few meters away. Zed was a young inventor who specialized in creating cars and other means of transportation like aircrafts, ships, choppers, and war machines. He works for the biggest company in the city of Sunderland known as The Eclipse industry, and so far he has been the reason why the company was still on top. Everyone was gathered here at the Eclipse industries to witness the first ever automatic car made by Zed. Zed has been announcing on the news for a few years now that he was working on a project. A type of project that hasn't been seen or heard by anyone. Finally, he succeeded in creating the car, and now they have all gathered here to watch him test it and also put it up for sale for billionaires to auction for it. As Zed walked towards the entrance, he slid his right hand into his pocket and pulled out a small red box. He opened the box and a small shiny ring could be seen sitting in there. "This is a very special day for me. But it won't be complete if I don't give her this ring. I will finally propose to her." Zed grinned as he closed the box and placed it back in his pocket. Zed pushed the entrance door open and walked into the headquarters. He attempted to walk forward but two men appeared in front of him and blocked his path. The men had broad shoulders and bulky muscles, and were both clad in black suits. "Good afternoon, gentlemen." Zed greeted, attempting to walk past them but they blocked his path. "I'm afraid you are not welcome here. Please turn around and leave this place to avoid embarrassment." One of the guards spoke in a deep and mature tone. Zed was taken aback after hearing the words of the man, and a puzzled expression appeared on his face. "W-what are you talking about?" He muttered. "There must be a mistake somehow. Out of my way, I have an appointment soon." Zed frowned as he tried walking forward but the guards didn't move. "Are you deaf? I said you are not allowed in here so kindly back away or we'll be forced to throw you out!" The guard spat, his tone filled with disdain as he glared at Zed. Zed still had no idea what was going on right now. He works in the Eclipse industries, and he was also the reason why everyone gathered here this afternoon. So what does the guard mean by he wasn't allowed. Zed opened his mouth to speak, but before he could utter a word a cool male's voice rang out. "You heard the man, didn't you, Zed?" A man in white suit and gray hair walked towards them. The man was known as Mr. Damien. The CEO of the Eclipse industries. "What's going on, Mr. Damien? This is a joke, right?" Zed muttered. "Nothing is a joke here, kid. Your contact with Eclipse industries has been terminated today, so please leave here at once!" Mr. Damien voiced out. The words of Mr. Damien pierced Zed in the heart like a dagger, and he staggered backwards and almost lost balance. His expression was filled with both shock and disbelief, and it felt like his whole world was crashing down. "What... What do you mean, sir?" He muttered in a soft tone. "You heard me right, Zed. Your services are no longer needed here so we had to terminate your contract." Mr. Damien responded. "But..what did I do? I've always been so hard-working to make sure the company remains at the top.. you can't just terminate my contract without giving me a valid reason." Zed bellowed, pain and betrayal laced in his voice. "Like I said, we no longer need your services, we have to let you go. And besides, we already found someone better, someone with a lot of experience and he is more suitable for the job." Mr. Damien explained audibly. "So you are just going to fire me because you found someone else? After all I've done for you and your company this is how you choose to repay me?!" Zed finally lost it and he voiced out in anger. "What about the automatic car I made? If you are going to fire me then I guess I should leave with my own creation." Zed added, his face bright red in anger. Zed has been working in the Eclipse industries for many years now, and it was his only source of income. If he should leave the company he would have no job or money to survive. However, if he could sell the automatic car to the highest bidder, he could get enough money to start up a business of his own. "The car you claim to be yours was created with the company's equipment and money. It is also registered under the company's name so it legally belongs to me." Mr. Damien responded with a mischievous smirk on his face. Hearing the words of Mr. Damien, Zed's blood boiled in anger and he clenched his fists tightly.

“You’re accusing my top fan of robbing a billion dollars?!” Jack snapped, his voice rising with fury.“I’m not accusing him,” Lucas replied calmly. “He’s a suspect—a lead. That’s why I need you to tell me his name and everything you know about him. Once you do, I’ll be out of your hair.”Jack scoffed again, anger bubbling just beneath the surface. “Who the hell do you think you are? You begged me for ten minutes, and I gave it to you. Now you're trying to drag me into something serious? I stream for a living, man. I’m not getting involved in a goddamn criminal investigation.”“I’m not here to fight,” Lucas said quietly. “I came here asking for your help. But if you refuse, I’ll have to involve my boss. And trust me, neither of us wants that.”There was a subtle shift in Lucas’s voice—quiet, but unmistakably cold. A warning cloaked in calmness. It made Jack pause. For the first time since the conversation began, the smirk faded completely from his lips.“What... did you just say?” Jack

However, before he could get any closer, the two bouncers flanking Jack immediately sprang into action. They moved swiftly, stepping in front of their boss to block Lucas’s path. Their stances were aggressive, eyes locked on him with suspicion."Just stay right where you are, fam," Jack muttered, his tone firm, laced with irritation.
