Once Juan Carlos was out of sight, Felix stepped up to Scott, who was still staring at the card.

“I thought you planned to act like a poor beggar or something… Now, suddenly, you’re a businessman? So much for keeping a low profile,” Felix remarked with a hint of sarcasm.

“One thing about plans is that they always change,” Scott replied, tucking the card into his pocket. “And besides, I got what I wanted—a ticket to the party.” A sly grin spread across his face.

"So you're gonna attend the party of the same man you traveled all the way here to kill?" Felix asked, his gaze fixed intently on Scott.

"I missed a chance to kill him this afternoon...that probably happened for a reason. I might have gotten caught if I shot him. So now we have to wait and act with caution. The party will definitely get us a lot of information about that man, and when we find the perfect opportunity we will strike and leave without any trace."
