"He was probably doing all that to avoid getting suspected. Most of the Hunter's victims are mostly gangsters that were brought in for questioning or police officer. Jordan is always present during the questioning so he knew the faces of the gangsters...he also has access to the police station so it's quite easy to locate an officer and kill him.""You also told me that the Hunter's dagger was going in your son, Robby's backpack, and Jordan is a close friend of Robby. Aren't these enough reason to believe that your partner, Jordan, is the fucking Hunter?" Scott voiced out. Chief Jim gulped down saliva, his face filled with sweat, and his whole shirt drenched. He stood there motionless, processing the words he just heard."It's okay if you don't believe me, though. After all, I didn't provide a concrete evidence and it's all just an assumption." Scott added calmly. "But deep down you know I'm right.""At this moment I am not sure I know anything. I've known Jordan since he was a kid.
That accent.. Scott pondered internally after reading the voice of the male that had just arrived, and he couldn't help but shift his gaze towards him. Glancing at the man, Scott could tell from his dressing and appearance that he was from the Arabic countries. "She'll be back in a second. Just went to get my order." Scott affirmed before shifting his gaze away and decided not to think too much about it. After all, the country was filled with different races so seeing a man like him here was totally normal. Baron Arman lighted up a cigartte and took a puff before speaking, "I'm new in town by the way." He informed, smoke oozing out of his mouth. "Oh, reall?" Scott replied calmly as he patiently waited for his drink. "Yeah. My plane landed last night so I decided to take a look around this city today until I found this nice bar." Baron Arman replied. "I see. So, are you visiting or just here for a holiday?" Scott inquired without sparing him a glance. "Actually, I'm here for bu
Amanda poured whiskey into Scott's glass and he picked it up and gulped down the whole thing. Amanda pulled a chair closer to him before taking a seat. She glanced at Scott for a few moments before speaking. "How were you able to do that?" She inquired. "Do what?" Scott replied with a question before pouring himself another shot."Your moves. The way you dealt with the man was like a well trained fighter. Who are you?" Amanda questioned in bewilderment."I don't think you should be worried about that, eh?" Scott replied without sparing her a glance as he took a sip. Scott used to be apart of the military back when he was young. He trained vigorously like they were training for an upcoming war.. The training was so intense that the general thought it might be a little bit extreme for Scott's tender age and he suggested they go easy on him. However, Scott declined his offer and carried on with the same vigorous training the rest of the soldiers were doing. During his time in the ca
"Quick, block all the exit!" Baron Arman ordered as he stepped into the bar with a dozen of Iranian gangsters.Scott's heart racer after catching sight of the armed men walking into the bar furiously. Each one was either welding a dagger, machete, while only one man was holding a revolver in his right hand."I warned you, kid, but you still chose to play hero. Now you're dead meat!" Baron Arman spat, his voice filled with anger, and his right hand rubbing his cheek. The spot Scott punched him earlier was still red and swollen.Scott stood in the same spot as the men that had just arrived stood a few meters away, waiting for the Baron's order.Scott glanced at their faces for a few moments before speaking, "You couldn't win in a one on one fighy so you went to bring people to help you. Just how pathetic can you be?"Hearing the words of Scott, Baron Arman's face became bright red, and his blood boiled in anger. "You are outnumbered and yet you still talk so smooth? Just who are you?"Ar
The tension in the bar was high, and the people that only came to get a quick drink and have a discussion with their friends were now hiding behind their tables. Frightful expression evident on their faces and their hearts pounding in their chest as they hid under the tables. Kaveh stepped forward majestically, his gigantic machete gripped firmly in his right hand, and he wore a cold and menacing expression. His gaze fixed on Scott as he advanced forward. Scott, on the other hand, just stood there calmly with his two fists clenched, ready for anything. The dark-skinned man he knocked out earlier by slamming his head on the counter filled with broken glass, woke up a while ago and has been witnessing the whole thing. At first, he was happy when Baron Arman came in with a dozen of armed men. However, when Scott defeated half of the men, his excitement was replaced with anger and disappointment. But now that he could see Kaveh walking towards Scott majestically, he could tel
When he arrived within striking distance, he slashed his machete forward. The machete sliced through the air at a tremendous speed, and when it was only a few inches away from him Scott swerved to the side and dodged the machete by a hair length. After successfully dodging the strike, the machete kept travelling forward due to the insane pressure Kaveh applied while swinging it out, and when it collided with the counter behind Scott, it sliced it in half. Kaveh retrieved the machete swiftly and swung it out once more with with full force. Reacting swiftly, Scott sidestepped, dodging had strike by a few inches and it ended up destroying the counter completely. Scott countered with a punch, but before the punch could make impact, Kaveh raised his right arm and blocked the punch in the last second. Scott then swung out his second fist after realising Kaveh blocked the fist with ease. But just like the first one, Kaveh deflected the fist off with his arm and countered with a kick.
"This is the end, young man." Kaveh spat as he pulled out a short dagger from his boot and gripped the dagger firmly in his right hand and began to bring it down on Scott's chest. Scott stretched his hand to his left hand side, seeking for anything he could use in his defence. Scott kept searching until his hand felt a broken table beside him.Without warning, he picked up the broken table and slammed it heavily on Kaveh's head before he could stab him with the dagger. The table collided with his head and sent him tumbling backwards. Scott ceased the opportunity and rose to his feet, and before Kaveh could recover, Scott sent out a kick that sent him sliding several meters backwards.Kaveh hit the wall nearby and laid down there motionless, while Scott stood on the same spot, panting heavily with sweat trickling down his face.He stood there for several minutes, his gaze fixed on Kaveh, waiting for him to rise up and attack.'Did I knock him out?' Scott pondered internally with a sli
Hearing the words of Kaveh, Scott shifted his gaze to his side and could see a comrade pointing his pistol towards him. "They didn't pull the triggers earlier because I asked them not to so we can abide by the rules and fight like honourable men! But now you have broken the rules by pointing a gun at my face!" Kaveh spat, his voice filled hatred and anger as he glared at Scott. Scott's heartbeat quickened after hearing the words of Kaveh, and his side eye caught a glimpse of one of the comrades cocking his gun. Scott swiftly moved his gun towards the man, and when he attempted to pull the trigger, Kaveh dashed forward and tackled him. Bang* A loud banging sound was heard the moment Kaveh pushed Scott, and instead of shooting the armed comrade, Scott shot the Baron that stood beside him instead. Kaveh's eyes widened in terror as he glanced at Baron Arman who still stood tall with blood gushing out of his chest. After standing for a few moments, he fell on the floor. The m
