"You'll have to untie me so I can eat." Barry requested, his gaze fixed on Scott who had a look of contemplation etched on his face."Nice try, bro, but unfortunately I'm not stupid." Scott replied."Come on, just untie my hand I'm not gonna try to escape!" Barry requested."And you expect me to trust you? I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to give you food and now you are asking me to take a risk and untie you?" Scott voiced out."So, how do you want me to eat it? Are you going to feed it to me?" Barry inquired with a frown."I don't know. When you get extremely hungry you're going to get down and eat it the way dogs do." Scott replied before stepping out of the bathroom."Damn you, Scott!" Barry voiced out in anger. He shifted his gaze towards the plate of food sitting beside him, and he began to move it closer with his legs. After bringing it nearer, he knelt down and bent his back lower until his mouth was now close to the plate like a dog. He sniffed in the food before eating it.A
Scott then let out a heavy sigh after making sure Philip was gone, and he wiped the beads of sweat on his forehead with his sleeves."Phew...that was really close." Scott mused. He stood there for a few minutes before dashing into the bathroom to check up on Barry."What's your problem? Can't you just stay quiet!" Scott voiced out with a frown as he pulled the napkin off Barry's mouth."You bloody bastard, what was that all about?" Barry lamented after Scott finally removed the napkin."I needed you to be quiet that's why I shoved that into your mouth, but even though I did that you were still able to make some noise. I was only lucky that Philip received a call in the last minute." Scott bellowed as he wiped sweat off his face with the napkin."Wait, the special force was here?" Barry inquired after hearing the words of Scott, but Scott didn't reply. "I told you they would come for me, didn't I?" He added."They did came for you, but here you are...still sitting in my bathroom tied u
Scott's eyes widened in disbelief as he glared at Jordan, "You can't be serious... right?" Scott blurted out. "We are very serious, Scott. There is no other way to get out of this situation. If they should return back to base and use the tracker it's over for us." Jordan replied."There should be another way. Can you even hear yourself right now? You're saying we should kill someone...a Sergeant. A man with so many connections. What do you think will happen after you kill him? You think they'll just stop looking for him?" Scott voiced out in disagreement. "It won't matter anymore. As long as we dump him into a lagoon he won't be our business anymore. We are apart of the police force, so it would be easier for us to get to the lagoon without getting stopped by anyone." Jordan answered back. "No, no, no." Scott began to pace back and forth in the room as he felt restless. "I don't like the sound of it. If you should kill him it won't make you ant different from the gang hunter himsel
Scott stood there in the small space of his room, and his head filled with thoughts. He couldn't help but Sense something fishy about Jordan. Scott didn't really pay any attention to him during these past few weeks he has known him because he was an officer, but right now he could see some strange behavior in him. The way he talked about taking the life of a man without hesitating meant that he has for sure done it several times in the past. Jordan was an officer, of course he would have killed so many criminals in the past, but the case here was different. Barry wasn't a criminal..he was an innocent man with a big mouth, yet, Jordan planned on killing him without feeling hesitant or remorse. Chief Jim's obviously had worrisome expression on his face and also felt pity, but a Jordan didn't seem to have any of those."Just what is going on here?" Scott mused with his fingers rubbing his chin, and a look of contemplation evident on his face. He stood there for several more minutes
"Yeah, my father is Mayor Campbell." Tonia responded as she walked towards the corner of the living room to get a bottle of wine for Scott."Wow, I didn't know you were the daughter of the mayor." Scott muttered."Am I supposed to be going around announcing he's my father?" Tonia inquired jokingly."That's not what I meant..I am just shocked that the daughter of the mayor would choose to walk as a secretary when you already have all what you need right here." Scott remarked audibly while walking forward slowly with his hands still tucked inside his black trenchcoat."I chose to work there mostly because of boredom. The company is the only place I go to because my father never takes me anywhere." Tonia replied as she poured red wine into a glass and walked towards Scott who already sat down on a sofa."And why is that?" Scott asked."My father is...ashamed of me." Tonia responded."What?" Scott blurted out in shock. "Why would you say that?""Because he said it himself. He hates me bec
(Meet us at the Old Shallow Bridge A. S. A. P and bring Sergeant Barry's cellphone along. {Jordan}) Scott read through the text with his heart racing in anger. He made it clear to them that he doesn't want anything to do with Barry's case the moment they left his house, and he also said in his text that they should come get the cellphone themselves at Tonia's apartment. But even after all that they are still asking him to come to the same bridge they plan on killing Barry."What have I gotten myself into?" Scott lamented internally as he stood there tapping his feet on the floor."Is everything okay, Scott?" Tonia noticed the worrisome look on Scott's face and questioned."Oh, uh, yeah, everything's good." Scott affirmed."Are you sure? You seem so worried." Tonia doubted Scott."I'm fine, Tonia." Scott replied sharply. "But I must leave now." Scott informed as he wore his black cap on his head and tucked his hands back into his trenchcoat."What? Why?" Tonia blurted out in shock."S
"Well, I've known Jordan since he was a kid." Chief Jim whispered back."He's still a kid though, just be more specific." Scott uttered silently.Chief Jim sighed before responding."I met him during the gang warfare. He had just lost both parents and siblings to the warfare, so I had to save him and took him under my wing. I basically taught him all he knows about being an officer." Chief Jim spoke in a hushed tone.Hearing the words of Chief Jim, Scott nodded and he didn't bother asking further questions. He remained there in silence with looks of contemplation evident on his face.He shifted his gaze towards Jordan who was still dragging Barry's body to the edge of the bridge. He finally arrived on the edge and tossed him off the bridge.A loud splashing sound was heard as Barry's body landed inside the river and began to float away slowly. After making sure he was out if view, Jordan turned around and walked back to the duo."Done. You see, I told you there's nothing to be worried
Scott finally arrived in front of the office and he pushed the door open and walked in. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIMON!" Scott shouted at the top of his lungs. His words caught the attention of everyone there in the office, and they all shifted their gazes towards him in disdain.Simon rose from where he sat gleefully and made his way towards Scott."Thanks, man." Simon appreciated as they both shook hands."Where do you want us to celebrate your birthday, bro? Name it and we'll go there after work hours." Scott offered with a smile."Really? It's fine I don't want you spending all your life savings in one day." Simon interjected."It's fine, Simon. It's your birthday for crying out loud. We've all been through hell these past few days, and there's no telling how tomorrow might be. We need a break to get our mind off things and relax." Scott remarked.Simon nodded his head with understanding after hearing the words of Scott."Alright, then. I already have a place in mind. Don't say I didn't
