"Relax, brother. Don't get yourself worked up." Alice stood up and walked towards him. "Scott came to Mexico without a back up. He came to your territory alone, that's the biggest mistake he made because now you have the upper-hand and it should be easy for you to take him down." Alice bellowed coldly.

Hearing the words of Alice, Juan Carlos turned around slowly to face her.

"You mean he came to Mexico City all alone?" He asked in disbelief.

"Well, not exactly. He came with a young boy. But I don't think the boy should be a problem." Alice responded.

Juan Carlos began to stroke his chin after hearing those words, and a look of contract evident on his face.

"He's a man with so many resources and connections, and he chose to come get revenge in my city without a backup? Is he dumb or what?" Juan Carlos blurted out, still in disbelief.

"He's definitely dumb because no one comes into another person's territory without any backup." Alice remarked.

"Now that he's here he's definitely not le

Felix glanced at the phone's screen in Scott's hand, and written boldly on it was a familiar name... Juan Carlos."So that sexy worker of yours is working for the enemy?" Felix blurted out in disbelief after catching sight of the name. Juan Carlos was the last person Alice called, and judging by the time she called it was immediately after she left the restaurant, and a few moments before Felix stole the phone from her."Yes, Felix, she is." Scott affirmed."Wow. I definitely didn't see that coming." Felix commented, still in shock. "What made you suspect her at first though?""During the gun massacre at Juan Carlos's mansion, he headed to a room to hide. At first, I assumed it was his room since his wives were also hiding there. However, when I glanced around I noticed some familiar stuff. The wig Alice wore the day I arrived in this city was there, and also her handbag was on the drawer. It was obvious that it was her room, and she was somehow related to Juan Carlos.""And today, ju

I was doing the city a favor by getting rid of the pest. This city is like farm land, and I'm the one helping you all clear the weeds and deal with the pests in it." Jordan remarked, his two hands still in the air as he stood a few meters away."Haven't you noticed? The crime rate in this city has reduced ever since I started. He added, and before they could head to the backdoor the entrance door flung open and six armed men with tattoos all over their bodies barged into the restaurant and spotted little Jordan and his parents.Their hearts skipped a beat after spotting the gangsters with guns."Well, well, look who we have here." Meanwhile… Elsewhere on Scott’s estate…In a quiet, deserted section of the property, four guards sat in a loose circle on wooden chairs, their flashlights clutched in their left hands while their rifles hung over their shoulders. The air was cool and thick with silence, broken only by the occasional rustle of leaves or the chirping of distant insects. They were stationed near the outer boundary of the estate—a less-traveled area that bordered dense woods. "I can't believe boss is back, man." One of the guards said, raising his plastic and sipping the gin he held in his right hand."I can't believe that after all these months he finally returned. Many said he was dead, some said he abandoned the empire because of all the responsibilities. But he's finally back." Another guard spoke up, and a joyful expression evident on his face."I'm really glad he's back. Even though I haven't met him or see him, I know he's a good and generous man. Scott walked up the staircase, ascending toward his room with slow, deliberate steps. When he reached the door, he paused for a moment before pushing it open. Scott stood silently at the threshold, his eyes sweeping across the space as a distant, unreadable expression settled on his face. The room was exactly as he had left it months ago. Not a single thing seemed out of place. There were no cobwebs in the corners, no dust blanketing the surfaces—clear evidence that the maids had continued tending to it regularly. They must have believed he would one day return, and they had kept it in perfect shape, almost as if time had stopped here."At least he didn't touch my room," Scott murmured to himself, stepping inside and gently closing the door behind him.He moved toward the bed and sat down heavily, leaning his elbows on his knees, his back hunched and his mind consumed with thought. His face remained expressionless, but his eyes told a different story—one of confusion, disappointment,

  • Welcome back, boss!

Scott ran his fingers through his sleek black hair and paced back and forth on the raised platform. The things he was hearing now were vastly different from how things had been just months ago. It felt like everything had changed completely—as if he had been gone for years—yet it hadn't even been a full year since his departure."You mean Sandro never used the money I sent him to support the companies?" Scott finally questioned, his voice edged with disbelief."No, he didn’t," Kael replied audibly. "Whenever I told him the company was running low on cash, he would say we should manage because you hadn’t been answering your calls. The company was slowly going bankrupt because there was no money to sustain it. That’s why I took those loans.""Sandro?" Scott echoed bitterly. "How could he do this to me? I trusted him.""I don’t think now is the time for you to worry about that, boss. You literally just got back home after months. You should’ve told me you were coming—I would have—""What

A thick wave of curiosity and unease swept through them, each person wondering who could possibly be inside. They all recognized the vehicle. It wasn’t just any car—it was a limousine reserved exclusively for the highest-ranking members of the empire. But all known high-ranking figures were already present on the field. He squinted at the advancing limousine, his breath caught in his throat. Then, slowly, a wide grin crept across his bruised face.“He’s… back,” he muttered softly, the words barely a whisper, yet somehow still

But Scott noticed something was wrong."Where is everyone?" he asked, raising a brow."They're all at the green field. Kael is going to execute Jude Gallagher today.
