Tonia's death

Mayor Campbell pulled Scott closer before slamming him heavily against the wall, causing him to groan in pain.

"You caused this! This is your fault!" Mayor Campbell retorted as he kept slamming Scott against the wall furiously, and the men and women that came with him just stood there and watch.

Scott chose the accept the treatment he got from the mayor because he understood the situation perfectly. Mayor Campbell didn't care about Tonia ever since he was born, and right now he was joyful that Tonia was now struggling for her life and might not make it out alive.

But, Mayor Campbell knew that if the public was aware about the fact that he hated his own daughter things could get ugly for him, that's why he decided to put on an act and pretend like he cares. Deep down he as praying Tonia dies... at least it would save him the stress of killing her himself.
