The moment Scott turned around to see who it was, he caught sight of a familiar face. It was the nurse who took care of him. Nurse Angela.

"Do you need anything?" Scott asked with a slight look of puzzle.

"You and I need to have a serious conversation, Scott." Nurse Angela stated coldly.

"Okay? What do you mean?" Scott asked, his expression a mixture of surprise and confusion.

Angela glanced around before shifting her gaze back to Scott.

"We can't talk here. Come with me to my office." She replied as she turned around and began to walk away. Scott stood there for a few moments as he watched her walk away before following her.

They both walked down the hallway and took a few turns before arriving at the office. Angela unlocked the door with her personal key and they both stepped inside.

After stepping inside she made sure the door was locked before advancing forward and went closed to her desk where her phone was.

"What's the matter?" Scott asked, still confused by the whole thing.

"That won't happen if you are already dead, Scott." Angela spat coldly. "I'll give you two options. Take this phone and call whoever it is you called and tell him to call off the plan and shouldn't come here, or I will head over to the office of the higher-ups and tell them all that I know."Scott stood frozen after hearing those words, and his gaze fixed intently on Angela. After a few moments of silence he finally spoke up."Go ahead then. Report me to the higher-ups. Tell them I am planning to escape. Let them find me, let them drag the outside, and let them hang me in front of everyone. You will watch me choke and die when you have the chance to help me and also make your life better." Scott bellowed in a serious tone."What do you mean by that?" Angela asked with a slight look of puzzle."You see, I told you... I am not an ordinary man. Aside from having several armies I am also very loaded. Or should I say you are currently looking at a trillionaire." Scott remarked, and Angela

“B…Boss. It’s good to see you,” Sandro muttered, his voice weak and raspy, yet laced with a flicker of hope.“Sandro,” Scott said softly, a rare glimmer of emotion piercing through his otherwise hardened gaze as he took in the sight of his old friend—bloodied, bruised, but alive.“You look like shit, boss,” Sandro commented with a faint chuckle, his lips cracked and trembling.“I could say the same about you,” Scott replied, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips despite the tension in the air.“That’s enough!” Wang Jian snapped, drawing Scott’s attention toward him. His grip tightened menacingly around the knife, the cold steel pressing harder against Sandro’s throat. “One move—just one—and I’ll cut his throat wide open.”“You don’t want to do this,” Scott said coldly, his tone like ice.“Oh, but I do.
