CHAPTER 122

The conversation was one of mockery and disdain as the words made their way into Paul’s ears. The Kazitanis were approaching closer and closer this time.

Paul’s ears picked up the unmistakable sound of weaponry in the distance and the noise sent a shiver down his spine. Paul’s senses were on high alert and he knew that it was war that was coming for him.

Paul’s mind was a whirlwind of competing ideas, each one vying for his attention as his thoughts were jumbled up.

Should he dart towards the driver’s wheel area and forcefully drive the vehicle out of the terminal? How was he even going to do that as quickly as possible without getting a host of gunshots in his direction - and that was even if he was quick enough?

Driving the truck away from the terminal with the very limited time that he had was even very risky because there were many other trucks around there which was always going to be very difficult to navigate through until he was able to get out.
