“Listen to me, kid. I am not here to harm you at all. Look at me - I am not a bad guy. In fact, I am only here to help your friend, Tulith. You said she is your friend, isn't she?” Paul spoke in a soothing voice despite being clearly frustrated by the little boy’s antics.

“Yes, she is my friend,” the little boy answered but his eyes were still wide with fear.

“Alright. It's alright okay? It's alright. I am not here to harm you or anyone else for that matter. I just need to ask you a few questions. Did you see her? Was she taken by someone?” Paul asked, placing a reassuring hand on the boy’s shoulder.

“Y-yes..I saw her,” the boy finally admitted, his eyes meeting that of Paul who had an expectant gaze.

“I saw her with a man wearing a mask,” he continued, his muscles tight with tension. “He creeped up on her and took her away. I wanted to scream but he warned that he would kill me if I screamed.”

Paul was speechless for a moment as he tried to process the information he had heard before
