Miriam’s parents were assassinated when she was only 12 years old in her presence. The EMTs looked at each other without talking but their demeanor showed a sense of defeat.“Let's use the defibrillator,” one of the EMTs pressured, not willing to give up on the poor man lying on the stretcher.“It's over man, we lost him.
