“You heard me right. You should go kneel to him right now,” Emma reaffirmed, her gaze fixed on Timber.

“Are you aware of how embarrassing it is for me to do what you are asking me?”

Emma butted in immediately. “No, the real question is if you are aware of how dangerous it is that we leave here without signing the contract.”

Timber furrowed his brow in contemplation as Emma continued.

“We would totally become bankrupt. Is this what your father would have expected from you if he were to be alive.”

“But father is not here now, is he?” Timber hunched in embarrassment.

“Yes, he is not here and that is why you have to take charge. Right now you are messing everything up which is not what father would have wanted,” Emma retorted.

“Okay, okay, Mum, it's okay. I get it. I messed up okay? I messed up and I am going to make it right,” Timber uttered, his eyes dull in despair.

“Very good, now is the time to make it right,” Emma affirmed.
