“Why don't I believe you though?” Mr. Maxwell asked, his back resting on his seat comfortably as he probed. “Take a look at these documents - these are some of the memos that you sent and the dates do not correspond with each other.”

“They are fake financial reports. I have given my auditors to carefully analyze these documents and the report is that they are all fake. Some of them aren't even signed.”

Lady Winston’s breath was caught in a hitch of panic, her voice quivering with a hint of uncertainty. “I—I am not sure but we signed most of them.”

“Most of them?” Mr. Maxwell queried. “Isn't that just some b*****it? Can you listen to yourself right now? You are actually telling me that most of them weren't signed, what happened to the rest,” Mr. Maxwell’s voice was resounding with an echo of disapproval.

“My main issue is not even with the fact that they weren't signed. I find it even more absurd that important decisions regarding staff were taken without my knowledge or approval.”
