Fighting On A Thin Thread

"Whoa! Whoa!"

Dodging every blast that six Sentient Guards launched, Cian made sure that they were firing into the walls of the District Barriers behind him.

He couldn't risk the buildings being hit and so he lured them near it and worry less about the robots firing at civilians.

The District Barriers were placed up as soon as large explosions happened in District A, enclosing it as the civilians ran out of it.

"This is very troublesome—"

Just as Cian wanted to fire back, he would get hit by a blast, sending him circling down the streets.

The blasts were too many to be dodged and despite them not dealing any major damage, if he keeps getting hit by them, the blunt force might shake his head and organs and bones.

It was bad in many ways.

"Shit, shit, shit. Think, Cian!"

He tried to come up with something as he flew around, dodging the blasts the Sentients fired and crept up to him.

His electrifying baton would work if he manages to hit one, but even if he did, there was still a lot
