Three years ago, after Pytronx's defeat but before Tachyon's defeat, Tachyon managed to acquire the dark core. She fled with it at incredible speed, searching for a suitable host to infuse with its negative energy. Eventually, during a stormy night, she came across Tobias Knight, a hardened and condemned criminal who was about to be sentenced to death by electrocution in Vill-City Prison. Tobias Knight had committed heinous acts, including the murder of innocent victims, rape, mass genocide, destructive rampages in the city, and the killing of officers, even going as far as to rape an officer. He was a menace to society and an extreme danger. Fortunately, his last destructive act was thwarted by the Ultra Family, whom he swore to take revenge upon.

As Tobias Knight sat in the electric chair wearing a helmet, awaiting his death sentence, a priest approached him to offer solace and forgiveness. However, instead of seeking redemption, Tobias cursed the priest and the world, vowing to see
