Chapter 7

Mr Vlad slowly dropped the flask on the table and as soon as she heard a funny sound from his bone, he tried to sit up and get a soothing relief instead of the usual pain that shoots a maddening pain up to his spinal cord.

As the Chief Medical Officer of Last Choice Hospital, he had a ghastly accident on his way to conduct an emergency surgery for a VIP patient, causing his legs and muscles, the ligaments and tendons in his legs was almost ruptured, affecting his spinal cord which was incredibly painful and brought out a cold nature in him.

Despite all his money, no one could treat him and restore his legs. He had traveled far and near in most countries but he was being told the same news over and over again!

But right now that crack in his bone sent a signal that something miraculous had happened.

His hands trembled as he held the handle of the steel wheelchair and applied pressure to get up which he shakily did and a tear slipped down his eyes in shock.

"Unbelievable!!" He cried out, looking back at the food he had just eaten, and shook his head.

There's nothing anyone would tell him for him to believe aside from the fact that the food he just ate did wonders in his life.

'God! I can even move my feet! I can walk!' He exclaimed again and jumped rushing out like a madman and his men couldn't believe their eyes.

"That guy! Where's that man you almost locked up?" He asked anyone, even the patients who thought he escaped from a psychiatrist ward but he didn't care. His joy knew no bounds.

"Find him!!" He cried.

"Please, find that man right now 'cause he's going to be my master and I'll be his apprentice! He needs to tell me what special thing he added that food to make me walk!"

He kept rambling even though he was serious, they all looked at him still unable to believe that it was their old crippled cold boss who still made men shiver at his command, running around like a carefree child in happiness.

"You have thirty minutes to bring back that boy or I'll lock you all up!" Vlad threatened, screaming at them to get lost and his daughter came over and gasped in shock.

She was done with the operation when she was told that her father requested for her but she was met with shock.

"Oh my god! What happened Dad?" She cried out.

"I only ate a simple meal from one powerful boy and everything changed! Felicity, because my legs are back in state; I will make sure he walks on gold!"

Her head splits into different thoughts and she couldn't quite get what her father was saying, he only ate food.

"How was he dad? This …this powerful man?"

"He was wearing a dirty coffee brown top with ragged Jeans that looked worn out! I can't believe I told them to lock him up he would be here soon!

Make sure you treat him with respect 'cause I'll fire anyone who dares talk low to him and that order is also extended to you as my daughter!" He ordered and Felicity gasped her mouth wide agape!

'I hope he isn't referring to Xenon!

God please, I hope it's not him?' Her lips trembled in shock as she shook her head.

"I need to see the food!" She said sternly to her father who dragged her hands and walked faster than her to his wards

 and the moment she set her eyes on the same flask she saw, she knew it was him.

It was Xenon!

Outside the Royal Volt Restaurant, two Royal messenger gods of Viscaria stood and saw the crowd that kept trooping into the restaurant.

They felt a strange power emerging from the direction of the Restaurant and they decided to check it out themselves.

They live in the disguise of humans but we're descendants of the tribe of Viscaria where Spice grandmasters reign, especially Drako who was their current King.

"You think this is strange?" Andrei asked his comrade who nodded.

"I know this is strange but what I'm baffled about is the fact that only King Drako is the only one to do this. He's the only spice grandmaster to awaken the hunger of the people!" Alec replied to him and he nodded.

"And this hunger won't stop until he serves them, who do you think is behind this? I thought we were the only gods living in Italy! Do you think it's the last king of the Senei family? Argh! I can't wait to eat his heart out by comparing his powers with that of King Drako?"

"Don't be dumb Andrea! He has an accident and he's human! I don't want to believe it but I think the real grandmaster of Viscaria has awoken his powers!" Alex twitched his lips in fear and he watched as more cars were packed outside.

"You mean Grandmaster Xenon?" Andrea gasped. "I thought he lost his powers!! We are dead Alec!"

"Shut up!" He retorted at him harshly and turned to him. "If he's the one, he's going to be so confused and won't be in control of himself! And we need to tell Drako to alert him of the impending danger. And from my observation so far, he's in love with a woman and we need to make sure she loves him back while she takes away his powers! Xenon cannot be with his powers, he's going to destroy us all!"

Alec said and Andrea nodded in agreement.

"But in doing that, we need to get closer to him and make sure nothing happens to that girl."

"That girl is not important Andrea! Getting his powers before he starts controlling powerful men is the main focus! Let's get out of here! We need to see King Drako!" He said, dragging Andrea out of the city to get rid of their opponent.
