Thomas POV The woman started crying softly and I was unsure of what to do about this situation. What exactly does she mean by my son? Some of my workers that were in the reception area were staring at the woman strangely and me. Oh gosh I sighed. I don't want another misunderstanding after what happened with Kate. I rather avoid it in any possible way I could think of. The company security walked over to where we were standing and asked me what they should do to the woman and the man. "Escort them outside to avoid further misunderstanding." I informed them as I turned and headed for the elevator with my guards. Even if they wanted to speak with me this was not the way to do it. "Thomas, wait, we need to talk." I heard the woman call out to me but I didn't turn or stop. "He is my son ,he is my son.". I heard the man and woman continuously say as I got into the elevator. I don't understand why people think that they can disrupt someone's workplace with such nonsense attitudes
Thomas's POVThey both flinched and Mike glanced over to me.He shouldn't blame me for my reaction,I was growing impatient at their silence."I think we should first introduce ourselves. I am Simon and this is my wife Mrs Simon." The Man spoke up.I don't need anyone to tell me their names, I need them to tell me why I came here.I already knew their names when I looked over the file concerning them and nothing much was said about their missing child, no picture , nothing, just that they were looking for their child and he was about the same age as me.Looking at the couple in front of me, I don't know what to say in this situation.I just want this weight lifted off my shoulder because no matter how comfortable I am staying alone not knowing my parents I still wonder at times what type of people they were. What type of jobs they did, do I have other siblings?Thoughts like that cross my mind every once in a while and it doesn't go away that easily because no matter how hard I try ,I
Thomas POV After some days I got the results of the DNA test back. I wasn't their kid. They were lying to me and cooked up the story because they wanted to reap where they didn't sow. They must have thought that I would accept their family into my life without asking questions. I don't like the news when Mike, my bodyguard , gave me the results of the DNA test. I was a bit sad because even though I have lived without any family I could rely on , I thought there was a chance they were my family, I was also looking forward to actually having a family. "I think maybe you should go out for the weekend and have some fun." Mike suggested as he saw how I was acting with the news of the DNA test. I glanced up to him. The only fun I will be having now is making those two people homeless. Is everything I asked for ready? "Yes sir everything is ready but won't it be best that will report this to the police ,he might try to do this to someone else?" Mike asked. "Oh we are going to re
Natalia's POVI pondered on it for a while before sending that text message to Thomas.Even though I didn't get a response from him I hoped I would.Because I knew for a fact that my family now cared nothing about me and I needed to get out of this house. If I could do anything to get out of here I will ,even if it meant letting slip something I knew that was happening at home.I knew for a fact that Dad was bad mouthing Thomas to anybody that would care to hear, I am sure it must be bad for business for Thomas so I wanted to tell him about it so he would know I am on his side.Even though I wasn't sure that it would actually help anything or solve any problem between us, I knew it was a step in the right direction because right now at home I was treated like an outcast and someone that didn't exist and I was getting sick of it.If I didn't get back on my feet I would not be respected in this family ever again.Logan is taking it upon himself to taunt and harass me each day and no one
Natalia's POVI rolled my eyes."I mean I need to sell those clothes on the bed online." I told Grace as I gestured to the clothes on the bed and she glanced over to the bed and then to me."You want to sell your clothes online?" Grace asked in surprise"Yes, I want to sell them. I have all of them and I have only worn some once and I need the money." I informed her.I know well enough that a handbag of mine can cost more than $1000.I wonder why I didn't think of this sooner since I have a lot of clothes. The best I can do is sell them off and get the money because I don't like the shit that's going on in my family."How many of your clothes do you want to sell?" Grace asked and I smiled, now she's talking."About ten of them, I just want to get up to $2000." I informed her.I don't want to start asking someone to give me transport fare, I want to take care of myself and I want to hold money in my purse,in case Thomas wants to meet up. I don't expect him to pay for my lunch and I kn
Grace POVI walked out of Miss Natalia's room and the smile that I forced to keep on my face instantly fell.I turned and glared at the door. How could she speak of Mr Thomas's that way after all she did to him.I really need to learn how to say no to some people because some people don't actually deserve any help from me but I was still curious as to what agreement she has with Mr Thomas. If not for her mother asking me to cook, I wouldn't have even ran into her.I clicked my tongue in annoyance as I walked down the stairs.I don't know if she knows she's so annoying to be with. I mean she literally makes it seem like she's above everybody even though she's at this level right now.The only reason I know I stayed is because she spoke of wanting to meet Mr Thomas and that didn't settle well with me at all.I know that Mr Thomas would not accept Miss Natalia back after betraying him but he stayed for so long beside her selflessly so what stops him from doing it again? No matter how mu
Grace's POV Timothy was smiling at me while I was glaring at him but seemed unfazed by my glare. "You don't know me because if you do, you will walk away because I will scream till everybody comes out and sees you and you won't like what I will tell them." I warned him. One reason I loved the occupants of our apartment buildings was that everybody knew me and everybody knew that I would stay on my own and not look for anybody's trouble. There is always somebody around somewhere, so I don't know what shit Timothy wants to pull but he should know it won't work. "I was already leaving." He said. "I just wanted to see you." He said softly and I rolled my eyes at his words. "Well you can go, you have seen me." I told him. "I want to see you walk up the stairs." Timothy said and I burst out laughing. "Do you think I am that stupid, do you want to attack me when I turn my back on you?" I asked and he seemed offended by my words because his demeanor changed. "What type of man do you
Grace POV"I was working and she just sent the text asking to meet up and I was considering it ,so I didn't bother replying." He explained but his explanation wasn't enough for me."Why do you still have her number, why haven't you blocked it?" I asked."I blocked her number before but I unblocked it because I needed to tell her to do something for me." He explained."Oh." I sighed."Sometimes I don't understand what men want." I sighed."What do you mean by that?" He asked."Oh nothing, it's just that I don't understand what you want." I replied.I am honestly tired of this."Grace, I want nothing from Natalia." He reassured me but actions speak louder than words. If he wanted nothing to do with her he would have blocked her number to stop her from contacting him. After all she did to him, does he still talk to her?"It's hard to believe since you can't even tell me a good reason you haven't blocked her number." I pointed out."What did Natalia tell you?" He asked."She said both of
