Ava left the place annoyingly. She went back to her house, murmuring some curses as she entered her house.

She went straight to her daughter's room to tell her all that she had heard from Anita.

She opened the door, meeting Zara sleeping and holding her pillow tight. It was obvious that she cried to sleep.

"My baby. My poor baby" Ava looked at her pitifully and sat beside her.

Zara felt her presence and jerked off from her sleep. She opened her eyes blurry and saw her mother's eyes have red in color. She was sad and it was written all over her face.

"Mom, are you okay? Is there any problem?" Zara asked.

"My baby, how are you going to cope? I just came back from Anita's house, to tell her about your contract but what I heard was worse than what we are currently facing" Ava cleaned the tears that were coming from her face already.

The sleep vanished from Zara's face when she heard about the 'worse' statement that her mother just uttered. She stood up immediately and looked confused.
