The rude peacock

Darren was strolling to and fro in front of the operating room. It has been seven hours and none of the medical practitioners that entered the operating room had come out. Though he was informed how complicated his wife's surgery is, yet, it was becoming too long.

Easton was beside him, trying to be there for his young master. He walked closer to him and whispered to his ears.

"Sir, should I get you something to eat? I noticed you have not eaten anything since last night"

Darren stared at him before nodding his head negatively.

"I'm fine. I just hope that surgery will go well so that I won't be tagged as a bad luck that loses his mother and wife to kidney transplantation" he replied.

Two hours later, the door opened slightly, revealing the chief medical doctor. Darren, who had been dozing off quickly, stood up and asked for Anita's health status.

"Young master" the chief medical doctor greeted, bowing a bit to respect. Darren cut him off immediately.
