Trade by Barter

In a slum, a young lady was knocking at a door waiting for a response. It wasn't forthcoming and it was noticeable that she was losing her patience.

She stopped knocking, stood for a while fire she resumed barging the door harder.

"Open this door before I forcefully remove it" she already lost patience.

A middle-aged man opened the door for her, he was looking shattered and malnourished. The first thing that landed on his cheek was a thunderstorm slap.

He could not retaliate but slowly caressed his cheek.

"Where is my money?" The lady asked.

"Where the heck is my money? How dare you be lying to me for the past three weeks, telling me that you are going to pay me but here you are, sleeping and eating without giving me a dime" she yelled at him.

People were passing by but none went to the man's rescue. He was only standing, sobbing like a child.

"Will you stop those crocodile tears of yours? I'm coming back in the next two hours and if you are unable to provide my money, I'll deal with
