Chapter 13

The frown on Leonard's face was deepened welling up through his vines down to his spine. But with a deep breath, he was able to control himself.

"I would love to see the forged explanation that you would want to give to frame an innocent person." He muttered his hands crossed over his chest.

The laughter that came from Mrs. Ruth could be felt and her heart echoed through the columns of the hall.

After a while, she was finally able to pull a stop and she said. "Are you feeling guilty already that when I tell them the truth, they are going to take you to the prison?" She flared.

But Leonard was still standing there, waiting for what she was going to say. He didn't have the power to fight it out with him anymore.

Seeing the look on Leonard's face, he ignored her and turned to the guard who was still waiting for him to explain.
