Mr. Alex was engrossed in his paper, when he heard a knock on the door. He looked up to see Erasmus stomping his feet on the ground as he approached his direction.

"Why are you overworked Erasmus?" Alex asked.

"That new chef of yours is and idiot. He watched as Mia insulted me today and I think he must have poisoned her heart to make her act rude." Alex closed his book and looked at his brother for a second.

"Do you really think Mia would be silly to listen to that chef? I know Mia very well and I don't think she said any of that due to the chef's influence." He dragged a cup that was simply afar and placed it in his front.

"Mia has loud mouth and even though she gets silent most of the time, I cannot deny the fact that she can be rude." He pulled out a drink from the shelf and poured it into the cup.

"You don't have to worry about her anyways. I heard one of the suitors would soon arrive to request her hand in marriage and I cannot simply wait to give my blessings." Alex finished off
