"Grandma! I don't need any maid…what is a young lady like me doing with a maid?

Her voice was vehement.

She stared askance at her parents, Mr Robert and Mrs Mary who took side with Lady Karen Douglas.

"I think your grandmother has a point, with Kyla now staying with us we will finally get rid of Alex Waynee, I mean the only reason we are keeping him is because of usefulness in chores and errands.'' Mrs Mary said, her voice was laced with disdain.

"C'mon Sandra, you should be thanking your grandmother for being so generous." Mr Robert said, his voice barely above whispers.
