Jason sat down with his mother, the weight of his discoveries heavy on his shoulders. He took a deep breath before speaking, his voice filled with a mix of frustration and determination.

“Mom, I need to know the truth. About our family, about my father,” Jason said, his gaze locked with his mother’s.
