Chapter 103

Mr Bennett chuckled over the phone, his leg trailing along making a dragging sound.

'It's not too much I want my position back Mr Stark.''

Joshua was silent; he reached for his water and took a tentative sip before settling back in his seat, finally looking up at the file again.

Yep, his eyebrow was still raised, and now he was leaning forward, one elbow on the table, his chin resting in her hand and a glint in his eyes, perusing through it.

“So…” Mr Bennet said, dragging out the word.

Joshua didn’t know what he’d heard yet, wasn’t sure if Mr Bennett was being for real and had called for this or not, so he simply sat there and said nothing.

His secretary came in as he buzzed her. One thing Mr Bennet was confident best about is how Joshua would defend himself.

Mr Bennett knew how to play the game well, but, luckily, so did Joshua. Joshua frowned while flying through the papers he smiled, a slow, evil grin spreading across his mouth.
