Chapter 133

Pamela sat at the side of the hospital bed praying for her mother to wake up. Her eyes were swollen. Her lips formed into a thin line and she looked at the wall, summoning patience that was nowhere to be found.

"Mother it's all my fault if you got in this state because I was stupid." She tried to sound calm but her inside quivered and she exploded into a thousand emotions streaming down her eyes like the flow of the river.

She felt a hand tighten on her shoulder warm and at least she knew it was warm in the wild room. Her hand slowly trailed up and placed onto that one.

"You've been there all blighted, you should stretch out your body and maybe get some sleep," Oliver said.

She was silent for a beat and she looked up.

"How far did the clinic say our treatment is due?" She couldn't, well, didn't call her father, Mr Mason was also like that not caring about anyone, his attitude they thought regarded his work ethic was rather plain to them and obvious now that he's got nothing to manage
