Chapter 141

The ginger feeling inside the pit of his mouth made Derek cringe. He couldn't believe what unfolded before his eyes, he thought he had seen a ghost.

"Mother." He muttered, his chest rising and falling.

He squared himself to the side and looked for something to give him comfort.

Aunt Miriam grabbed herself the cushion and relaxed herself into it, her hand on her knees with a glare that spoke more than her word.

"Didn't you hear me or do you want me to force you into the seat, Derek." She inquired.

Derek's legs having an instinct of their own dragged themselves towards the woman sited right across from him. Her unbothered attitude made him flinch and then scowled.

"Not until you explain what you're doing here at these odd hours." He stated firmly.
