Chapter twenty
"I'm sorry I can't help you, Joshua," Pamela said moving to one side, she wished she could but the throng and the fact that Joshua was caught in the act red-handed left her with no conviction. Aunt Savannah, she knew of her, Joshua had told her before but that was way way back. There is no way he would still be looking for her if she knows how is bereaved Joshua had been when he told her.

"Or what, you're going to fight me?" Trisha retorted not minding Joshua's grapple to contain his uproar, she doesn't care besides he was good for nothing that they talked about to the whole crowd.

"Are you accusing us? Admit your act, swindler!" Mrs Bridgest Mason said supporting Trisha.

But despite this scornful reflection, he gazed round in a friendly way at the people within the premise. But even at that moment, he had a dim presage that this happier contour of mind was also not normal.
