Jack took his seat at the long table, surrounded by the board of directors. He was the only one without a suit and tie, and he felt a little self-conscious. He cleared his throat and prepared to speak.
"My name is Jackson, and I'd like to share my story with you."
There was a moment of silence, and then a few murmurs of interest. Jack could feel the anxiety rising in his chest, but he knew he had to keep going.
"When I was old enough, after my said accident I applied for a job at a large delivery company. I thought it was my chance to finally make something of myself. But I soon realized that the company was run by a man who was cruel and vindictive. When Mr. Allen found out about the mistake, he was furious. He called me into his office and started yelling at me, calling me all sorts of horrible names. I tried to explain myself, but he wouldn't listen. Then, out of nowhere, he hit me. He punched me in the face, and I fell to the ground. I was stunned and terrified. But I knew I had to get out of there. I ran from the office, and I never looked back."
Jack paused, trying to catch his breath. Slowly, memories of his cheating wife, Jen, flood through his mind, and all he feels in that moment is rage.
"My wife, i found her cheating on me with another man." Across the table, Jack could see the look of pity on the faces of the directors.
"After my wife cheated on me, I felt lost and alone. I had given my all to our marriage, and she had betrayed me in the worst way possible. I felt like I had no one to turn to, and I was so angry and hurt. I couldn't believe that someone who was supposed to love me could do that to me, and then my foster mother who has always loved me... Left me alone in this world. But despite all that, I knew I had to keep going."
Jack took a deep breath and continued, addressing the board. He knew he didn't need to dig further into his story.
"With me as your head and chairman," Jack told the board, "I know we can reach new heights and achieve great things. I'll bring my unique perspective and drive to the table, and I know I can make a real difference. I'm ready to put in the hard work and dedication needed to take this company to the next level." There were several applauses by the end of the speech, and for the next few hours, Jack took in some of the questions and further gave answers to lingering issues revolving around the increase in cooperation structures and monetary values as well.
After the meeting, Jack was led to a conference room, where he was introduced to several other company heads. He couldn't believe that most of the top firms he had seen on their posters were all under him and affiliated with his corporation.
Barely hours later, Jack was hungry, and with Sanchez by his side, they both stepped out to a nearby restaurant to get lunch.
While their orders had been made, Jack was about to say something to Sanchez when he noticed a delivery guy step into the restaurant. The man would remind him of his days in the former corporation, and all he felt at that point was anger.
Jack's thoughts were racing as he tried to eat his lunch. He couldn't help but think about all the ways he could get back at his former boss. He started to imagine all the ways he could ruin the man's life. But then something unexpected happened.
Even though his former boss had treated him so poorly, Jack couldn't help but feel a pang of sympathy for the man. Maybe he had his own struggles and challenges that led him to act the way he did.
Jack was surprised by his own reaction. He'd never thought of his former boss as anything other than a villain. But now he was starting to see the man as a complex and flawed human being. He wasn't just a one-dimensional bad guy. Jack started to wonder if he could find a way to forgive the man for his past actions.
But before Jack could dwell on that thought any further, Sanchez interrupted his train of thought.
"Sir, you look like you're deep in thought. Are you okay?" Sanchez asked with a concerned look on his face.
Jack snapped out of his thoughts and realized Sanchez was looking at him expectantly. He tried to compose himself and put on a smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said, trying to sound convincing. "Just thinking about some things."
Sanchez seemed to accept his answer, and the two continued their lunch in silence. But Jack's thoughts were still churning.
He couldn't get the image of his former boss out of his head. He wondered if there was a way to reach out to the man and try to resolve their differences. But he also knew it would be a long and difficult road.
As Jack sat across from Sanchez, his mind was consumed with thoughts of revenge. He imagined himself confronting his former boss, demanding an explanation for the way he had been treated. He pictured himself getting the last word, finally putting an end to the chapter of his life that had been so difficult.
But even as he thought about all of this, a part of him knew that it wouldn't solve anything. It wouldn't make him feel any better, and it wouldn't change the past. He knew he had to find a way to move on for his own sake.
"Sanchez, I think I might have a great plan to take revenge on my former company." Jack revealed, with a smile plastered on his face. The days where he had to be scared of the top firms were over. His corporation fully ran everything, and that was all that mattered to him.
Jack walked into the doors of the large, imposing building, and he took a deep breath. He felt a knot in his stomach, but he knew he had to do this. He had to face his past head-on. He needed to take revenge for all the things the man had done to him.He made his way to the reception desk, where a friendly-looking woman sat behind the counter. She looked up at him and smiled."Can I help you?" she asked.Jack took a deep breath and tried to sound as confident as possible."I'm here to see Mr. Smith," he said, feeling his heart pounding in his chest. The receptionist's smile faded a bit, and she raised an eyebrow. "Do you have an appointment?" she asked.Jack swallowed hard. "No, I don't," he said. "But this is important. It's urgent."She looked at him skeptically, but she picked up the phone and dialed a number. After a few moments, she spoke into the receiver."Mr. Smith?""There's a man here who says he needs to speak with you," the receptionist said. "He doesn't have an appointmen
The blaring force of the alarm pulled Jack out of his sleep-like state. Apparently, all he believed to be true were simply images from his dream. He sighed in belief as he realized that some of the horrible things he had seen were never true. His phone suddenly blinked, and upon checking it, Sanchez was on the line. Apparently, the latter had been calling his phone, but Jack had failed to pick up. He slowly got up to his feet, stretching out his entire structure. He didn't want to pick up the phone, as he already knew how the call was most likely to start and eventually end.Staring at himself in the mirror, all he could think about was being appreciative of where he had come from. He is now the CEO of the biggest corporation in the world despite having lost his job and having his wife cheat on him."You just seem not to get a rest, do you?" Jack finally answered the call and voiced his slight irritation to Sanchez."I am sorry, sir, but I need you to understand the urgency of this me
Everyone was already seated, and Jack stepped foot in the room. He noticed the absurd manner in which they all stared at him. Every single member of the Mike's Family exhumed luxury, but he wasn't bothered or felt a bit intimidated, as he knew they were miles behind him."Why have you brought this thing?" One of the members of the family asked, feeling disgusted as he held his nose as well."He needs to help serve as the clown. Meetings like this need comic relief sometimes." Jeff replied as Jen giggled. It hurts Jack as he realizes that his once-loving girlfriend was simply staring at him like a clown. The noise would eventually ease down as the door opened, revealing a man who was in his late forties. He made his way towards the top of the round table, and his presence was fully acknowledged by all who witnessed him."Who is this?" He pointed it out to Jack."He is here to serve, and he had the ability to create comic relief as well. You should have no trouble with him, as he is mer
Jack stepped out, and Mike's build swears he had a long, stressful day."Who are you?" A lady who came down from a car that had a pack asked"I think I should be asking you that." He smiled at him but only got a shock response from her."My name is Rose, one of the granddaughters of this family. I ask again, who are you?" Jack was truly pleased; she was his type and beautiful too; she had to be used too, he smiled."I'm so sorry, ma'am; I'm Jack, the new servant boy."After looking at him for a while, she nodded and walked into the building. He brought out his phone and said, "Meet me at my deputy's office." He said that, and off he went.~~~On seeing Jack walk into her office, the deputy chairman stood up as a sign of respect before he ordered her to sit back down."What can I do for you, sir?" Ella asked, feeling enthusiastic about the entire situation."I need you to help me with something really important," Jack stated."What could that be, sir?" She asked, getting a pen and pape
"I see you have grown enough wings to be able to talk to me in any manner that so pleases you." Lady Alina asked, getting really pissed with the serving boy."This man here did not contribute a single quota to your well-being," Jack revealed, causing Donald to stare in disbelief at him."Who is this peasant?" Donald asked, staring at Lady Alina."He is the wretched serving boy, an unfortunate being. I am truly sorry for all the embarrassment that he is causing you. And as for you, Jack, I want you out of this table at once." Gerlad simply smiled but didn't move an inch."You are retarded if you don't do as Lady Alina has instructed," Venita, Rose's mother, finally said. Rose, on the other hand, searched through Jack's eyes to see if he was saying the truth and realized that there was never a time she had known him to be a liar before."He is not going anywhere; either he stays or we both leave." Jack was all smiles, as he was happy Rose was having some faith in him again."Is this what
The day was far gone, and Ella was working intensely on so many projects for the company when she received a call from a prospective client."Rex Company, how may I be of help?""Am I speaking with Miss Ella?" The anonymous voice askedYes, you are; how may I be of help, please?""I want to make an alliance with Rex Company. And if you would listen carefully, this alliance would fetch Rexa a very huge sum of money that you all would not be ready to contain in your account." The anonymous voice explained."Alright then, shoot up; we are listening.""Actually, we cannot talk on the phone. Can you please lay out a meeting for us to discuss more?" Ella hesitated for a second, scrambling through her diary to know if she had any fixed meetings for the following day, but it turns out that she had none."Tomorrow should be okay with you." Sje asked"That would be excellent," The anonymous commented, "we would meet at a specific location I would give out to you in a minute, through text messag
Aliyah was surprised to see Rose with her loads, coming to her house. She had helped her old friends with her belongings and assisted her into the room.Once Rose had settled down, she knew that Aliyah would be needing an explanation of her sudden arrival and so, proceeded to the living room to meet up with her friend."Seeing you on arrival, I was surprised to see your face, and i must say that you have grown quite beautiful from the last time I saw you" Rose took the compliment and smiled at her friend."So, what brought you here" Aliyah asked, paying all attention to her friend to give her the necessary details she need."Alot of things have been happening with me lately and i feel a change of environment would be needed for me for now""Care to share some of these things you are talking about?" Aliyah asked."First of all, the pressure from my clan and although that is settled, I have been made the sole inheritor of all the revenue that would be coming to the clan" Rose explained.
It was Sunday, and Rose and Aliyah had set out to get groceries from the mall. They had kept Audery with a nanny, whom Aliyah had hired whenever she was going to work, to cater for the baby."I have to admit, Val, you have a very smart child in Audery; he is the true description of a genius, and on top of that, he sure knows how to melt anybody's heart." Aliyah, who was driving, smiled at the compliment given to her child."So, what are we going to get at the mall?" Rose asked."A few goodies aside, I was hoping we could get clothes for myself as I really need them at the moment," Aliyah stated as they packed the car by the parking lot before heading into the mall. The city's mall was one of the centers of attention for most people, who came to get a variety of things. As they walked across the busy mall, Rose saw the variety of fruits that were stacked, and she had to admit that it had been days since she had eaten fruit. She wasn't complaining, as she knew of her friend's job, which
