Chapter Eleven

The chief frowned, “The army?” Jackson thought out loud, “Yes, sir. and it looks like they mean business,” the young officer says

Jackson got up and followed the officer to the front door. As he stepped outside, he felt a chill run down his spine.

Jackson saw dozens of armed soldiers, wearing black uniforms and helmets, pointing their guns at the station. They had parked several armored vehicles and tanks around the building, blocking any escape routes.

The chief felt a wave of fear and confusion. And Jackson wondered if this was some kind of coup or martial law. He looked around, hoping to see a familiar face or a sign of explanation. Jackson saw no one he knew, only hostile and menacing eyes.

Pamela walked into the station dressed in all-black, leather high-heeled boots, a leather jacket, and black pants and complemented it with dark sunglasses. She walked like she could kill a hundred men with one look.

She ignored the officers and the police chief who made way for her by stepping
