Chapter Sixty

Sophia came out of her room, still very worried not knowing where her father was. It’s been a few days now, she felt scared and sad.

Angela saw Sophia's face. She knew Sophia was not happy. Angela wanted to help Sophia, so she walked up to her and spoke nicely.

"Sophia," Angela said, "You look like you have a problem. Can I do anything to help you?"

Sophia let out a big breath. She felt heavy inside. She did not know what to do. "I don't know where my father is, Angela. Jackson said he would keep us safe, but I still feel afraid."

Angela's eyes were kind. She knew how Sophia felt. "Sophia, I have known Jackson for a long time, and if he says he would do anything to protect you and your father, trust me he will, you don't have to worry, Jackson always keeps his promises."

Sophia looked at Angela. She wanted to believe her, but she still had questions. "But where is my father? Why doesn't Jackson tell me anything?"
