Untouchable Arnold Hayes

Chapter 15

Diana looked at the large building in front of her. Seeing something that made her memory go back a few years ago. Even though she didn't have a house that luxurious, but at least she had enjoyed her life when the Hayes family still stood proudly.

Diana looked back at her son. She didn't know what Arnold was doing in this place. But she immediately remembered when Arnold said that he had a rich friend. She thought that Arnold came there to return the car she had borrowed.

"Is this your friend's house? Do you have business here Arnold?" Her mother asked very carefully.

Before she got the answer, Diana immediately remembered that her appearance was not too good to come and work on her feet in a luxurious place like this.

Quickly her wrinkled hands began to tidy up her hair and clothes. "You should have told us if you were going to come here. At least we would wear better clothes."

Diana looked down, examining her very bad clothes. She couldn't remember the last time she bought new clothes.. even though she didn't have any more decent clothes at home, but at least she had some clothes that were more appropriate to wear in a place like this.

Diana was getting more and more restless. The woman looked at Arnold and held his hand very tightly. "Arnold, should we leave here first?"

"Or not? We should at least bring something for your friend." Diana was silent for a moment. She wanted to laugh at herself right now. She didn't even have enough money to buy something for Arnold's friend. She quickly corrected her words, "at least we can bring a cake that mother made herself. It won't cost much money. Because we won't be able to buy expensive things for them."

Diana swallowed her bitterness. She regretted herself because she couldn't give a much more appropriate thank you.

Her father also nodded his head. "What your mother said is right. We can't come empty-handed."

Arnold there shook his head. Then he smiled at his father and mother. "We are here because we will stay in this place."

Arnold's words certainly made his parents feel very surprised. They settled down and then looked back at Arnold with disbelief. "Are you kidding, Arnold?"

"Isn't this your friend's house? Of course we can't stay here." Diana confirmed it to Arnold.

Even though their current situation was very bad, they didn't want to bother other people at all. They didn't even have anything to repay the favor.

Arnold shook his head. "I'm not kidding at all. We'll stay here, Mom." His face showed seriousness.

Diana who was there certainly didn't believe it quickly. The woman shook her head again, knowing that Arnold was really joking. "This is absolutely impossible."

"Mr. Arnold is not joking at all. He said the truth." Benjamin who had just arrived, also spoke.

Benjamin looked at Arnold's parents. The man showed his polite attitude. "You please come in. This will be your residence."

His father and mother looked at each other again. They couldn't even speak for a moment. His gaze was fixed on the luxurious building in front of him.

This was really very surprising. They never thought that this would happen.

Even though the Hayes family was still in their glory, it was impossible for them to have such a luxurious house. And of course this raised many questions in their hearts.

“Arnold, this is a very luxurious and extraordinary house. How is this possible?” The woman immediately looked at her son very seriously. “This doesn’t make sense at all.”

His father who was there also looked at Arnold. It took a lot of money to build a house like this. And according to him, Arnold would not be able to have this luxurious house. While it was very clear that Arnold had just been released from prison a few days ago.

“Arnold, stop all this. Let’s get out of here. I don’t think it will be okay if we stay here.” His father said firmly. The man did not want his son to get into trouble again.

But Arnold here bent down and held the hands of both his parents. He looked at his father and mother in turn. “Mom, dad, trust me. I’m not joking or lying to you at all.”

“We will live here.. and there will be no problems whatsoever. This is your home.”Arnold explained carefully.

Both of his parents looked at Arnold very seriously. They couldn’t even say anything at this time.

“From now on, you won’t have any more trouble. Our lives will change for the better.” This time Arnold stood up. Showing his very serious face. “I swear that no one will look down on you again.”

Diana and her husband still couldn’t believe that this was real. But seeing Arnold’s seriousness, they slowly began to realize that their son was really saying something very serious.

Until finally they nodded their heads. Diana reached out and stroked Arnold’s head very gently. “Thank you Arnold, you are our best son.”

Night had fallen. Footsteps that made no sound approached. Until the door opened slowly.

A man was seen sleeping peacefully. He looked at her very seriously. Then, the man spoke softly. “Father, I will heal you.”

Arnold purposely came and saw his father’s condition. His arrival was to make his father better and healthy again.
