Arnold was surprised. He stared at the small object still inside the black box, and his gaze became more serious as he slowly removed the item.

Arnold found a black key there, and he held it tightly. "Key?" His lips murmured faintly, thinking about this.

Arnold looked at it more carefully. Recalling Paulus' words that he should open it outside the gate, Arnold was sure it was not just any key. Especially now, he saw that it was a lock with a strange shape. He knew that this was not a shared key to use.

"What is this key for?" He wondered. His eyes were still gazing at the key earnestly.

He was silent for a while, thinking about what to do with the key. But at this moment, his gaze returned to the black box. There was a small folded paper.

Arnold frowned, took the paper, and unfolded it. There were some slightly faded scribbles on it, but they were still clearly legible. The message explained that the paper had been folded for a very long time. Now Arnold knew that the paper contained information on where the key should be used.

"Black Lotus Residence?" Arnold read the address softly.

This was not unfamiliar to him. Of course, he knew about the Black Lotus Residence. Clearly, it was a sacred place.

Arnold recalled more about the place, and he was sure that he really knew about it. Although he had not yet entered the prison, many people were talking about it.

There were many rumours about that place. Some people even said that humans could not touch it and that only certain people could enter it.

Many people say the place is mysterious. Only certain people live there, and their identities are kept secret. No one knows who occupies the house.

However, other rumours say that people who can live in that place must have at least 1 billion dollars.

Remembering the rumour made Arnold raise his eyebrows. His mind went back to Paulus.

And at this moment, Arnold realized one thing. "Wow, old man... are you actually that rich?"

Arnold was not a man who came from a poor family. His family owned a business that processed milk into various forms, so much so that he had several branches in his town.

But going up against the Waston family was a tall order. Waston's wealth was far above his family's. Even a single order from the Waston family could defeat anyone who confronted him.

Ultimately, before he returned home, Arnold decided to go to the Black Lotus Residence. Arnold was very sure that there was something there.

Arnold remembered Paulus saying that he was his successor, and Paulus gave him a gift. He was very curious about the gift, and he really hoped that this wasn't a trap for him.

Arnold walked at a fast pace. Knowing that getting to that place would take a long time. Given that the place was quite far from here.

He was currently halfway there. Stopping his steps for a while. This time, he stared at the passing vehicles he had not seen for a while.

Arnold stood on the zebra crossing, waiting for the red light so that he could cross the road.

When the crossing sign changed to green, Arnold immediately walked calmly. But just as he was about to reach the end, suddenly, a black car travelling at high speed almost hit Arnold.

The screeching of brakes and the honking of horns sounded simultaneously very loud, which surprised Arnold.

A man poked his head out of the window, staring at Arnold, who was still walking with an angry gaze. "Hey, can't you step aside? Walk quickly! Damn it!" His shout was deafening.

"Didn't you see the sign?" Arnold spoke sternly. His face looked very cold at the moment. He shouldn't have to explain this. The man should have known. The car should have stopped and allowed Arnold to cross.

But he didn't seem to understand. His gaze was getting sharper. "I don't care. Get out of my way, you lowlife!" The man swore before returning to his car and driving off again.

The man in the black suit watched Arnold with agile eye movements. But his gaze was more with hatred. "Are you following me on purpose?"

"Don't you know what this place is? You shouldn't be here. You won't be welcome here. Leave!" He said with emphasis. "You're just a lowly man."

Arnold ignored the man's words. It was just as Paul had said if he had to come there. This time, Arnold walked through the gate. But two large guards stopped his steps at that moment.

"You are forbidden to enter!" One of the men gave a stern warning there.

Arnold looked at him coldly. "I have business here." He wanted to barge in, but once again, the two guards stopped him. They did not let Arnold just walk in.

The two guards scanned Arnold's appearance. "Are you kidding me? Who would want to have anything to do with a man like you? This place shouldn't be stepped on by a poor man like you!"

The two guards were surprised. It was a real gold key. They didn't even expect that the bad-looking man in front of them would have access to this place.

The two guards looked at each other, realizing that the key was the real one. At this point, they realized that they had made a mistake.

The two immediately bowed their bodies. "Please forgive us. We have made a mistake by keeping you here."

The guard immediately opened the gate, giving Arnold free access to enter.

Ronald was surprised by that. He looked at the guard with annoyance. "What are you guys doing? How could you open the door for that guy? Can't you see he's a hobo?"

The guard looked at him calmly. "He holds the key. And, of course, he has access to stay here. That's why we allowed him."

Ronald rounded his eyes after hearing the confessions of the two guards. "This makes no sense!"

"Damn it! He looks like a bum. How can he have that access?" Ronald cursed emotionally.

While Arnold ignored the argument still ringing in his ears, he chose to walk deeper into the area this time. Arnold stopped his steps. He looked at the building in front of him carefully—a luxurious house with the number A. His eyes moved swiftly over the address written on the small sheet of paper.

"Is this really the place?"

Arnold pushed the door open slowly. In a matter of seconds, the luxury inside became visible.

But Arnold's gaze was currently focused on the inscription in front of him. "Welcome, newcomer."

After reading it, he was sure that this place had been prepared for him beforehand. And he was sure that there was something here.

But right at this moment, the tattoo of a tiger with a chain on his left arm was very painful. He grimaced and held his big muscles firmly.

The pain turned into a burning sensation that burned half of his hand. This went on for a few seconds until suddenly, the pain just disappeared without leaving any trace.

"What happened?" Arnold hesitantly fingered the tattoo. There was no pain or heat left behind. It was not even like anything had happened. This seemed strange.

Arnold looked at the tattoo for a few seconds. He remembered where Paul had drawn the tattoo on his left arm. Paul said he pulled it with a special technique that he didn't understand at all.

Arnold tried to ignore the tattoo. He refocused on what was around him. He was sure there was something Paul had come here for.

He decided to go deeper into the building, stepping with caution and a very alert eye movement. But suddenly, she was very surprised when the Party Popper that was right above her at the moment exploded.

At the same time, three boxes appeared in front of him. Of course, this made him very curious. Arnold walked over to look at the boxes.

Until he could see the black card in the first box. He picked it up slowly and looked at its authenticity. Arnold didn't say anything. But he knew it was the real black card.

Arnold let out his breath. His gaze fell on the second box, and he opened it curiously. But this time, he found a map inside. "A map? What is this map?"

Arnold's two eyeballs moved quickly. He couldn't decide soon if these three boxes had also been prepared for him. And right now, he chose to open the last box. And there he frowned as he got the key back.

This was a different key than the one he had gotten from Paulus. This time, he was holding a gold-coloured key.

Arnold held all three objects in his hands. His gaze searched wildly around him. "He does like to play around."

Arnold lowered his gaze to stare at the three objects in turn. "What exactly have you been up to, master?" he grasped all three very tightly.

Arnold understood that Paulus had inhabited this house before, which is why it wasn't maintained when Paulus was in prison.

Arnold let out his breath. "I will look at this house in more detail later."

The house was so grand that it would take a while to see the details of each room. At this time, Arnold chose to return to his home.

By now, he was in front of his yard. He became more relieved.

Arnold had been away from his family for four years. He missed his parents very much. And his arrival without any news would certainly be a surprise for his parents.

He stepped into his house with excitement, but his footsteps stopped when he heard a scream from inside.

Arnold ran quickly into his house. He was shocked to see his parents lying on the floor, surrounded by several people dressed in black.
