Chapter 30

Austin can not believe he is tearing up. He is a grown man and discussions about his father have made him start weeping like a boy.

"I made your father a promise to look out for you whenever you needed help. Nobody knows about how Mr. Rufus helped my company. The account the investment money came from was unknown. Mr. Rufus opened to me about his company just in case something happened."

Austin nods, feeling sad how he completely misunderstood Vincent. Vincent was just trying to help him and he was shut down.

"I'm really sorry, Vincent." Austin apologizes, "I had no idea about any of this if not I would not have behaved so rudely with you."

"It's okay. I perfectly understand. I'm just glad we are able to clear up this misunderstanding." Vincent smiles.

Austin crosses his arms, "You must be wondering why I am not involved with the company."

"Yes, please explain to me what's happening. Are the shareholders against you being the CEO? If it's anything, tell me and I will help you."
