Chapter 8

After hearing this, Felix didn't have any change in expression, he wasn't the least bit bothered by the depriving of his salary because he was here to resign anyway.

After his announcement, Mr. Evan turned to the whole crowd and made a second announcement which sounded loudly in their ears.

" As for you, for causing so much noise in my office room, all of you will have today's income deducted from your salary!"

"No!" All of the workers cried out pitifully, the deduction of their salary pained them emotionally and physically and they were all put in a bad mood.

Looking at the bad mood of the crowd, Mr. Evans secretly smiled to himself as he thought. " hehe, this should do it"

"By deducting a day's worth of their salaries, they'll definitely be angry about it but they can't direct their anger at me because I am powerful, instead, they should all blame Felix for it, and hate him even more"

"Sorry Felix, but you can only blame yourself for being poor and useless and for crossing my son" Mr Evans smiled at this thought then he left the workroom and headed for his office.

The workers watched Mr Evans leave angrily, however, the anger they felt could not compare with the fear they had for him which was the reason why none of them even dared to complain when he deducted their salaries.

Feeling angry and unable to vent their anger on the person who cheated them, their eyes gradually turned back towards Felix in hate.

Instead of blaming themselves for making too much noise and getting deprived of the day's income, or blaming Mr Evans for being too harsh on them, they all shifted the blame to Felix and their hate for him increased.

Felix's colleagues didn't even consider the fact that Felix, their victim, hadn't even done anything bad to them since he entered the office a few minutes ago as they started blaming and cursing him.

"You lowlife it's all your fault that this is happening to us!"

"If you hadn't walked in here and affected us with your bad luck, our salaries wouldn't have been deducted"

"You have been nothing but bad luck ever since you joined this company, you this fucking bastard!

"I wish you would just fall down and die. I wish you can just disappear from our lives for good, you fucking loser"

" you being here is just making our lives fucking miserable"

"Why are you guys saying that it's my fault? Was I the one who deprives you of your salaries?" Felix couldn't help but ask upon listening to those curses.

However, Felix's words only served to anger the crowd further as they started throwing even more curses at him.

"Shut up you loser, who gave you the right to argue with us after what you caused, do you think that you can turn us against the General manager?!"

"You are such a shameless fellow, after robbing us of our salaries you also want to manipulate us to go against the general manager and lose our jobs, Felix, not only are you poor, incapable, and shameless, but you are worse than the devil!"

"Get out of here you devil, it is no wonder you are so poor and your wife cheated on you and left you!"

"Get out of here Felix, get out!"

"Get out!"

"Get out!"

"Get out!"

"Serves you right Felix, this treatment is just what you deserve" Meanwhile, Mr. Evan laughed as he listened to the shouts from inside his office.

Chapter535 Silence lingered before the temple. Not the peaceful kind but the kind that pressed against the chest, heavy and expectant, as if the mountains themselves were holding their breath. Felix stood at the foot of the temple’s sealed gate, the paper from the city lord’s hand folded neatly and tucked away. Around him, the Crimson Victorium Force gathered in small clusters, voices low, expressions tight. No one laughed. No one joked. Even the most battle hardened among them found their thoughts drifting back to the words written in desperation. The Demonic Sky City. Everyone is going to die. Speculation spread quietly through the ranks. “A city… in the sky?” one warrior whispered, glancing upward as if expecting to see a shadow pass over the clouds. “How does a city even move?” another murmured. “And how does something like that wipe out an entire population without resistance?” Luthor folded his arms, brow furrowed. “If it truly came from above,” he said thoughtful

Chapter534 The climb did not end. Felix and the Crimson Victorium Force continued upward through the mountain pass, step after step, their boots crunching softly against loose stone and ancient debris. The air thinned as they ascended, growing colder, sharper, carrying with it a strange stillness that pressed against the chest. The mist followed them. It drifted lazily along the slopes, curling around broken rocks and shallow ridges like pale smoke from an unseen fire. Vision was limited, not because the mist was thick, but because it seemed to swallow distance, making everything beyond a few dozen meters feel unreal. And the bodies, They never stopped. The corpses stretched onward, forming a grim trail that climbed with them. Some lay sprawled against rocks as if they had collapsed from exhaustion. Others were huddled together in clusters families, Felix realized arms wrapped around one another in a final, futile attempt at protection. No one spoke. Expressions hardene

Chapter533 Vibrant City no longer looked like before. The once hostile ruins lay quiet beneath a sky dulled by drifting haze, its broken towers and fractured streets threaded with invisible formation lines that hummed faintly beneath the surface. What had once been a living, predatory city had been reduced to a controlled battlefield, every variable accounted for, every threat stripped away. Felix stood at the city’s highest plaza, his gaze sweeping across the dormant formation one final time. The trap was complete. Energy flowed smoothly through the hidden nodes embedded across rooftops and spires, circulating in layered patterns too complex for most cultivators to perceive. The formation was not active but it was awake, coiled and waiting like a predator with its eyes closed. Felix nodded faintly. “That will do.” Behind him, the Crimson Victorium Force gathered in orderly ranks. Their armor bore fresh scars, but their expressions were calm, disciplined satisfied. The

Chapter532 North East Sector of the Secret Realm, Sky Republic The Sky Republic did not arrive on land. They arrived on surfaces stolen from the sea. Jagged stone outcroppings jutted out from a vast, endless body of dark water, slick with moisture and algae. Broken rooftops of ancient, half submerged buildings rose at uneven angles, their foundations long drowned beneath the depths. Everything else, streets, plazas, lower structures had been consumed by water so deep and opaque it swallowed light after only a few meters. The sky above was a sickly gray blue, heavy with moisture. A damp wind swept constantly across the surface, carrying the stench of salt, blood, and decay. Sky Republic warriors clung to stone spires, crouched atop slanted rooftops, or balanced carefully on narrow ridges. Below them. The water moved. Shadows passed beneath the surface. they looked long. Massive. Hungry. Fins cut through the water like knives. Rows of sharp dorsal ridges surfaced b

Chapter531 While Felix was reshaping the Vibrant city into a trap for his enemies who will soon come to attack him, his ebemies were also making plans of their own. The Dominion Association did not arrive in the Secret Realm gently. The moment the spatial distortion collapsed behind them, the world assaulted them. A shrieking gale tore across the land with enough force to knock weaker warriors off their feet. Snow blasted sideways in dense, blinding sheets, each flake sharp as ground glass as it struck exposed skin and armor. Visibility dropped to mere meters, and the cold seeped instantly through protective barriers, biting into bone. This was not a place meant for life. It was a glacial mountain range, vast and merciless, its jagged peaks rising like broken teeth toward a sky choked with rolling gray clouds. Ice coated cliffs surrounded the landing zone, their surfaces smooth and treacherous, riddled with fractures that groaned ominously beneath the pressure of wind and

Chapter530 Felix stood atop the highest remaining tower of the ruined city, the wind tugging faintly at the hem of his crimson coat. Below him stretched Vibrant City no longer a hostile corpse that lashed out blindly, but a subdued carcass of stone and memory. The shattered streets lay quiet now. Vine remnants smoldered where they had been burned away. The ground, once pulsing with malicious life, had fallen into an uneasy stillness. Felix closed his eyes. His spiritual sense expanded outward again, not downward this time, but northward. Past the broken skyline. Past the city walls swallowed by roots and stone. Past the dead plains where twisted vegetation grew in silence. And then Mountains. A vast region of jagged peaks emerged at the edge of his perception, layered one behind another like the spines of a colossal beast sleeping beneath the earth. Thick haze clung to their slopes, obscuring valleys and passes, while dense martial energy churned within the mist like un
