Chapter 8

After hearing this, Felix didn't have any change in expression, he wasn't the least bit bothered by the depriving of his salary because he was here to resign anyway.

After his announcement, Mr. Evan turned to the whole crowd and made a second announcement which sounded loudly in their ears.

" As for you, for causing so much noise in my office room, all of you will have today's income deducted from your salary!"

"No!" All of the workers cried out pitifully, the deduction of their salary pained them emotionally and physically and they were all put in a bad mood.

Looking at the bad mood of the crowd, Mr. Evans secretly smiled to himself as he thought. " hehe, this should do it"

"By deducting a day's worth of their salaries, they'll definitely be angry about it but they can't direct their anger at me because I am powerful, instead, they should all blame Felix for it, and hate him even more"

"Sorry Felix, but you can only blame yourself for being poor and useless and for crossing my son" Mr Evans smiled at this thought then he left the workroom and headed for his office.

The workers watched Mr Evans leave angrily, however, the anger they felt could not compare with the fear they had for him which was the reason why none of them even dared to complain when he deducted their salaries.

Feeling angry and unable to vent their anger on the person who cheated them, their eyes gradually turned back towards Felix in hate.

Instead of blaming themselves for making too much noise and getting deprived of the day's income, or blaming Mr Evans for being too harsh on them, they all shifted the blame to Felix and their hate for him increased.

Felix's colleagues didn't even consider the fact that Felix, their victim, hadn't even done anything bad to them since he entered the office a few minutes ago as they started blaming and cursing him.

"You lowlife it's all your fault that this is happening to us!"

"If you hadn't walked in here and affected us with your bad luck, our salaries wouldn't have been deducted"

"You have been nothing but bad luck ever since you joined this company, you this fucking bastard!

"I wish you would just fall down and die. I wish you can just disappear from our lives for good, you fucking loser"

" you being here is just making our lives fucking miserable"

"Why are you guys saying that it's my fault? Was I the one who deprives you of your salaries?" Felix couldn't help but ask upon listening to those curses.

However, Felix's words only served to anger the crowd further as they started throwing even more curses at him.

"Shut up you loser, who gave you the right to argue with us after what you caused, do you think that you can turn us against the General manager?!"

"You are such a shameless fellow, after robbing us of our salaries you also want to manipulate us to go against the general manager and lose our jobs, Felix, not only are you poor, incapable, and shameless, but you are worse than the devil!"

"Get out of here you devil, it is no wonder you are so poor and your wife cheated on you and left you!"

"Get out of here Felix, get out!"

"Get out!"

"Get out!"

"Get out!"

"Serves you right Felix, this treatment is just what you deserve" Meanwhile, Mr. Evan laughed as he listened to the shouts from inside his office.

Chapter 640 The moment Rabin’s life faded, the effect rippled across the entire ship.Every surveillance feed, every monitoring system, every control room captured the same scene Rabin collapsing, his overwhelming presence gone, and Felix standing as the only one left alive. For a brief moment, silence held across the operators as if their minds refused to process what they had just witnessed, but that silence quickly shattered into chaos.Voices rose one after another, overlapping in disbelief and fear. Many of the operators stared at their screens with widened eyes, some even stepping back instinctively as if distance could somehow protect them from what they were seeing. Rabin was not just another warrior to them; he was the strongest among the Nacrons, the one they believed could not fall under any circumstance.“This is impossible… he defeated Rabin?”“No… no, there must be an error in the system!”“How can someone at that level kill him?!”The disbelief quickly turned into p

Chapter 3 "Hailey?!, you are my fiancée?" Jason said with a look of surprise as he gazed at Hailey in a daze. "Who are you calling your fiancee?" Hailey said in annoyance."Wait, so you guys have met somewhere?" Granny Lisa said. "Oh yes we have, but at that time we didn't know anything about each other, it's quite a surprise that we unknowingly have such a relationship" Jason answered. "Yeah it's quite a surprise, I never knew there would be anything connecting me and someone like you," Hailey said as she discreetly cast a disdainful gaze at Jason. "Is there something going on between you guys?" Granny Lisa asked sensing something strange about the atmosphere. "No there is nothing, granny, I will be heading to my room now" Hailey answered as she left for her room. When Hailey left, Granny Lisa thought that something was wrong but decided not to pursue the matter. She sat Jason down and began to question him on what he had been through while he was away. At night, Gran

Chapter 638 The chamber had gone quiet again. Not from the absence of battle—but from the shift in it.Felix stood facing Rabin, his breathing steady, his gaze fixed, while his mind continued to move at a speed far beyond the rhythm of the fight itself. Every exchange, every reaction, every subtle fluctuation in Rabin’s Martial Run Intent replayed within him in perfect clarity. He had seen enough.Rabin stepped forward again, his presence pressing down like a collapsing sky, the Piercing field around his body warping space itself as if daring Felix to try again.“You’ve reached your limit,” Rabin said coldly. “You can analyze all you want, but without true intent, without fusion of soul and law, you cannot break this.”Felix did not respond. But something within him shifted. The Annihilation Run stirred. The Channeling Run followed. Before, they had been separate. One destroyed. One redirected. Now—They resonated.Felix’s eyes narrowed slightly as a new understanding formed—not f

Chapter 637 Rabin did not slow down. His arm moved again, and another invisible strike pierced through the space between them, carrying the same suffocating inevitability, the same unnatural sharpness that seemed to ignore distance and defense alike. Felix shifted, narrowly avoiding a fatal hit, but this time he did not simply evade. He observed. Closely. The attack did not behave like ordinary energy. It did not travel through space in a straight path. It manifested along a line of intent. A line that could not be blocked conventionally. But.. Felix’s eyes sharpened. “If it manifests…” He thought. “…then it must still be structured.” Even something that bypassed defense had a form. Even something intangible had a foundation. Rabin struck again. Felix did not dodge immediately.Instead, his palm rose slightly. A faint distortion appeared in front of him. Not a shield. Not a wall. Something subtler. The Annihilation Run. But not as before. Not as a large scale erasure.

  • Chapter636

Chapter 636 The chamber fell into a suffocating silence as Felix and Rabin faced each other. There were no distractions here. No alarms, no fleeing operators, no chaotic interference, only two figures standing at opposite ends of a vast metallic hall, both fully aware that what came next would not resemble the battles that had occurred before. Rabin took a slow step forward. The sound of his armored foot against the metal floor echoed with unusual weight, as though the very structure of the ship acknowledged his presence. He did not rush. He did not attack immediately. Instead, he spoke. “There are levels to power you have not yet understood.” His voice was deep, steady, and filled with quiet confidence. Felix did not respond. He simply watched.Rabin continued walking forward. “In the Ascendant realm, there are three stages, early, middle, and late.” His gaze locked onto Felix. “The ones you fought before… Breaker and Destroyer… they were only at the early stage.” There

Chapter635The alarm spread through the entire flying city. It was no longer a silent machine of destruction. Every corridor now pulsed with urgency as red warning lights flashed rhythmically along metallic walls. The once orderly operations shifted into a state of war. Felix stood in the control room for only a moment longer. He did not waste time. He already knew what would happen next. They would come.He stepped out into the corridor. The moment he did, the atmosphere changed. The hum of machinery was now mixed with the distant echoes of movement heavy footsteps, rapid deployments, coordinated units spreading out through the structure. They were searching for him. Felix moved forward calmly. His presence remained concealed, his aura tightly controlled, blending into the environment. To ordinary detection, he was nothing more than a ripple in the system. But that did not mean he went unnoticed for long. The first group appeared at the end of the corridor. Six figures. Armo
