Hello Guys!
It's April! I hope you're doing fine. Meanwhile, I will be having a 3-day break. My next upload will be on April 4 (Monday). This break will be allocated for me to have a buffer in chapter updates.
I would also like to tell you that this book will be completed in this month approximately. But don't worry, this is just the First Book of the series. The sequels will be uploaded as new books. I'll keep you updated on that. I hope you still enjoy my story, and I hope you'll still support me in my future plans. Thanks for tuning in to my story.
Regards,
Imbo
“It’s getting darker… I’m scared…” Tusha nervously whispered to Tommy.“We should keep moving. They will find us if we move like turtles.”“Oh… okay,” Tusha’s hesitant reply. After moments of walking,“Wait, wait… I think I can hear people,” Tommy uttered. “Can you hear it too?”Tusha listened carefully and quietly. Later on, “Uh-hm! I can hear them too! I think they’re just ahead.”“Let’s go! They might be the good guys! They could help us escape from the bad guys.”“To… Tommy… are you sure about this?”“Yes!”“What if they’re bad guys too?”Tommy had a moment of real
“They’re getting away; we should move faster!” Lumine said while using the Tracking System.Lumine, Mika, Orixa, and Raft are still searching for the two kids. Along their way, they heard something.“Wait! I hear something!” Mika said. The four stopped in their tracks.Rustling of leaves can be heard nearby.“Be ready! It can be a monster!” Raft stated.Suddenly,“Help! Please help us!”“Tusha!?” Lumine uttered after seeing Tusha come out from the bushes.“Tusha! Are you okay? Are you hurt? Why did you leave? Where is Little Tom-Tom?” Orixa’s series of questions.“We should hurry! Mister Nikko needs help!” Tusha said frantically.“Nikko?&rdqu
“I believe you already know why I assembled you in this place. A certain undesirable incident happened last night; I think you’re already informed that Tommy was kidnapped. Now, we will be having a planning conference to strategize the next steps we will take,” Raft announced. “Why do we have to do this early in the morning?” Frenz complained while yawning. “This is very serious and urgent, Smiley,” Orixa replied. “I know; I know… It’s just… I didn’t have enough sleep,” Frenz murmured. He yawned again. Lumine came together with Tusha. “Hey, Lumine! Morning!” Mika greeted. “Hey, Mika! Good Morning!” “Hey, Little Tusha! Did you have a good sleep?” Mika greeted the child. “Uh-hm!” Tusha responded with a cheerful smile. Mika asked Lumine, “So… how was your interrogatio
“How long should it take for us to reach the Plain Settlement?”“Hmm… We just reached the exit of the Forest. So maybe… we’ll get there by night. Just like what Rafty estimated,” Orixa answered Mika.“Okaaay…”“I’m still not sure. The last time I went there was when I had the Exploration with Mario and Virgo. We took a whole day to discover the Settlement because it was our first time going back there,” Orixa explained. “What’s your thoughts, Nikku? You are the one who’s always going there - how long do you think our travel will take?”“When I’m alone - just a few hours. But now that you’re with me - I don’t know,” Nikko answered.“Huh? Are you trying to say that we’re slow-walkers?” Mika replied irritatedly.
“We’re about to enter the outskirts. Get ready,” Nikko uttered. The three proceeded to the Plains Settlement. As they walk deeper inside the Settlement, the aura can be felt changing. Eerie and uneasy air become more condensed as they walk toward the parts where the residences are more concentrated. It can be observed that the houses and structures in the place were not in good condition and were not properly built. The materials used were just patches of scrap metals and wood. There are lots of junks nearby.; you can hardly even tell which one is a house and which are rubbles.Meanwhile, the residents are just scattered in the place. Some are just sitting behind the little peepholes of their houses - staring blankly at the ghastly streets. Most are out sitting on the streets - staring randomly with their drugged eyes, blending in with the rubbles and junks.“I t
Mika and Orixa were surprised by Nikko’s answer. “I think I heard that there’s a kidnapping incident happening nearby,” Nikko added. “Really!?” Orixa’s reaction. “Wow! We just got here and it’s happening already! This Mission will be faster than we thought,” Orixa uttered. The conversation between Coco and the wounded player continued. Mika, Nikko, and Orixa moved to the crowd to listen closer to the conversation. “We should get him this time!” a player from the crowd uttered. “That bastard! He always does what he wants!” another shouted. “Capture that man!” another yelled. The cheering continued. When the crowd saw that three Scouts were coming closer, they suddenly went silent. The crowd just stared as the three walked to speak to Coco. “Co
“I really remember that face of yours! Weren’t you the boy in the First Station? The one I saw playing at the entrance of the First Portal?....” The boy didn’t respond. He just continues stepping backward. “And as I remember, you were playing with another boy. Was he your friend? Where is he now?” Mika interrogated. Her assertive tone suddenly changed into a more concerned one. “Who cares!? I already killed him!” the boy shouted at Mika. Mika was shocked by the boy’s answer. The boy ran away to the shadowy parts of the area. “Should I chase him?” a player asked Skald. “No… let him be,” Skald answered. Mika is still in a state of shock. She’s just staring at the air. “Mimi, Come on. We should go,” Orixa whispered as she hugged Mika’s arm and led her back to the Tave
“Uh-huh… So… there’s only one kidnapper in there? He sounds very powerful to do it alone,” Raft’s reaction to the Report. “Yes… Super strong!” Orixa affirmed. “Well… okay. Regarding the ‘aftereffects’ that Coco mentioned, I’ll study more about it. For now, I don’t notice any significant behaviors from our friends that I might correlate to the past Event,” Raft said. “It’s good to hear that everyone is doing fine there,” Mika said. “Yes. We’re fine here. Everyone looks okay… Except - I think… Tusha?” “Tusha? Why? What about her?” Mika asked. “I don’t know… She’s acting weird for a normal player. She still gives us wacky answers whenever we ask her questions about her.” “Oh, I see… same as before?” “Yes! She keeps telling about ‘Rath’s Return’ and other mystical beings, and ‘her people’s o
