“Thank you once again for being a good representative, and for standing in the gap while we were away. It is nice to know the school is in a condition to still meet the annual globe,” Master Yonda smiled at the students.

He folded his hands as he rested his elbows in front of him, causing his body to lean forward with more words in mind for the students.

“Thank you for honouring my invitation. Once you are done, my guard here will escort you out safely. I will be taking my leave now, I have to rest in preparation for the forthcoming event.” Master Yonda’s chair scraped the floor as he rose to his feet waving them goodbye.

“What is the annual globe?” Kakashi’s mouth was full but his idea of the annual globe was empty.

The hall was quiet, and only the noise of thudding feet passing by, closer to the hall, was heard.

“Thank you very much,” Jiro bowed to the guard, showing his appreciation for his gesture in carrying out his orders.

“It’s so dark now. Everyone seems to have gone back

The sun was not left out in the mourning of Doctor Hiro. The clouds formed to pay their respects, leading the darkness that swamped the academy. Leaves flew with the breeze sewed into their veins as wings for flight, and the sun took the day off resting from the extra shift it put on yesterday.“... he was a—” Some thought it was the emotion, some had no thoughts, but not many people noticed that Master Yonda lost his train of thought on the platform. His eyes darted to the stranger that floated around in his flowing garment. “Who is he?” Master Yonda blurted his thoughts out loud. “... who is he? Who is he? Some of you may ask. He is one of the finest to leave this place. He is a legend that has mended a lot of you and us. He is a believer in the ways of religion, and he is never gone from our hearts. He lives on, he is not dead to us.” Master Yonda pounded his chest with his right clenched fist. The atmosphere gradually soiled like oil to paper as the sounds of beaten chests spre

He dragged out a chair for himself, dropping into it. “What is wrong with you? And you? All of you. Well, except you.” He dismissed Kakashi’s feelings.Kakashi scoffed in response. “Do I look like something is wrong with me?” Zoa put up a bold front.“Great, one less person to worry about then. So you,” Daichi turned his body to face Tanya, “What is wrong with you? And before you think of saying you are fine; I know you are not fine. I can see that you are not fine. If I didn’t know you better, I would have said you are jealous, because you do look like you are angry at something, not really what someone has done to you.” Daichi tilted his head to see her evading face.Zoa’s interest piqued. She lifted her face off the table, widening her eyes at the thought of her friend, Tanya, being

The morning was filled with so much vibrancy. The students were out in numbers, walking around leisurely as they had a break from the tedious training in recent weeks.Master Yonda has been frequently changing his whereabouts, a behavior quite uncharacteristic of him. Since his return to the academy, he has exhibited a heightened sense of security awareness and an unusually exuberant demeanor."He has been warned a couple of times in my presence and even by me that the decision is not exactly the best at hand, "Jiro observed the master's confident stride, his hands casually tucked behind his back as his head inclined slightly forward, leading the way."How did you even become so close with him to be able to have those sort of conversations?" Kakashi inquired from Jiro with a heightened sense of keen interest etched on his face."The commander died in their travel to find Oz. I may be on the next platform to attaining that status, but I do not have the intention to take up that mantle.

He cleared his throat, his face close to Zoa's face. The hall was crowded with voices but no faces. Their eyes locked for a minute longer, a lump forming in their throat of Kakashi. "Why are you suddenly friends with someone you barely know? You both just met… what? Less than a week ago? What do you think you are doing?"Jiro came to a sudden halt, causing Kakashi's lengthy strides to cease as well. He turned around to face Kakashi, a gentle chuckle escaping his lips, a reaction Kakashi hadn't anticipated from his words."Why do you care who I am friends with? I didn't stop you from walking around with the stranger, did I?" Jiro flicked his golden hair."Stranger? Walk? What are you talking about? You were the one who encouraged me to accept his proposal as my tutor. It has nothing to do with friendship." Kakashi's arms were outstretched, pleading their innocence. As Kakashi stood there, his words echoed in the hallway, emphasizing the confusion that enveloped the situation. Kakashi's outstretched arms symbolized his sincerity, a representation of his confusion and need to be understood. "It is not just training now, is it? I saw you and Jay talking about me the

“Why did you tell me not to inform anyone about what happened here?” Kakashi looked around like he was in a dream world. His hand found the back of his head; his head was under trial for a crime worthy of being cut off, why else would he feel so much hammering?“Hey, are you all right?” Tanya moved closer to Kakashi who looked like an alien who just found himself in another world. Kakashi looked at Tanya once, trying to fight the fog that covered his vision. “What happened?”“You were asking about the Annual Globe and then… that was it, you fell into an excruciating pain? What happened? It was sudden.” Tanya stooped her head lower to read Kakashi’s face.“Ouch,” Kakashi winced as he raised his back from direct contact with the floor.“Careful,” Tanya held him with caution as he sat beside her on the platform. Yes. It felt really different now. He would happily erase his mind off every thing he had just witnessed. He took a deep breath. The spaces were crowded, the rooms must have been flushed out with some information. Students were never always so willing to be outside. Although he was thankful for the dissipation of the cold he felt, he worried over the things that may happen around with no knowledge he has of.The scattered groups that saturated his path made it harder for his eyes to sight the whereabouts of his friends. His eyes listened and brought into focus Jiro, “Not him.” He sneered. He engaged his eyes in continuous search, advancing forwards with his head higher than it should be. “Sorry,” Kakashi bumped into one of the students from behind.“YOU!” “What?” His lips left a gap, his pupils dilated. His head shuffled the same faces in a quickfire scan.“REMEMBER ME?” Their voices spoke at once in an echo, their feet crashing loudly at him like the marching of an army to war.

“Hey Zoa,” Tanya rushed to catch up with Zoa’s fleeting feet. “Zoa!” Zoa spun around. “What is it, Tanya?” She shot Tanya a glare. “I don’t like what is happening between us. I miss my sister,” Tanya’s voice cracked, her face dropped into a plea hard to say no to. Zoa stood, rooted to the spot. Her eyes lingered on her, tears forming around her eyes. She opened her arms, pulling Tanya into a warm embrace. Her shoulders warmed with Tanya’s tears as they held each other in that position for what seemed like forever. They basked in their embrace, unconcerned about the passing gazes that fixed on them, the urgent feet that marched or even the touch of the commander. “Zoa!” She snapped out of her stare at Tanya. Tanya stood, her eyes still droopy. She rotated to a halt as she came face to face with Kokohashi. “Did you hear what I said?” Her head tilted. Her face cont

The gates opened and the people left their mouths ajar.“How is he alive?” “What is he doing here?” “What are those with him?” Yonda rode into the place he once called home. It looked bigger and better. There were new structures scattered on widened grounds. He looked at the place he once lived; embers of fire heat underneath the huge smoke that went up to the sky from there. Huge men vacated there with black dust covering their bodies. Yonda continued deep into where their leader stayed. “Hi. Where is Master Ji?” Yonda asked the boy from the top of his vehicle. “I don’t know who that is.” The boy said and then ran away. Oh, okay. “Yonda?” The musical voice that called behind him sounded familiar. He turned around to see Maika beneath a hoodie. His eyes sparked, the memory of their last time time together filling him up with joy. “Maika.”“I thought you died.” Maika whispered. “Why would you think that?” Yonda asked. “Um, my brother said you were taken by raiders and there was no

The annoying laughter from below him echoed in the back of his ears. He groaned awake, rolling on the bed. His eyes were wary of their new surroundings, parting slowly. He helped himself to sit back, leaning on the bed frame. His eyes widened as she walked in from the other room, her body drenched in water. Her eyes were suppressed under the heavy weight of beauty that crowned them. She wasn’t naked but there wasn’t much left to be imagined. She caught his stare from the mirror. Damn. What is that smile? That is beautiful. His eyes darted to the door flung open. “Oh, I see you’ve met her,” John said to Yonda, passing his glance from him to her. “She is quite incredible, is she not?” He strolled in without a care in the world. Yonda took his eyes off his brother, and back to the girl in front of the mirror. Her fingers clutched her shoulder, backing the mirror with her head dropped. She scampered off, back into where she appeared like an afterthought. “Why did you just walk in? You

You have a week, prepare your minds.” Master Ji dropped his hands, taking his time to climb the stairs back up. “What do you think this is?” John marched towards Yonda. “Is he trying to send us away?” “This is not something any of us possess an understanding of. It is certainly a mystery. But he has been training us for a long time—” Yonda’s words were interrupted. “Never have been trained to go on a mission. Never.” John jumped in. “Never, I agree with you. That makes this mission even more important now. There is something hidden within that we might not understand now. But I do disagree with you. The master loves us too much to ever want us out of his sight. He came for you without blinking. Alone. The master wants to see something i

Quizzical looks covered both of their faces as they marched behind their master."Where is this place, Master?" John called from behind."Be patient, my son.""Are you sure this is the way, Master?""Continue to follow me Yonda. Believe." Master Ji faced the wall, charging towards it."No!"
