Chapter 12

“Take cover! Everybodyyyyy, take cover!!” A soldier shouted over the walls as heavy footsteps were heard running furiously towards the gate.

“Get out of here!” Jiro shouted at the students who looked dazed and in shock. “Get out now!” His spiky golden hair lit up as he jumped down from the elevated platform he was on.

“Why are you still here? Run!” Jiro barked at Kakashi.

“Noooooooooo!” The scream pierced the sky as his body fell to the floor.

“Are you okay?” Zoa ran back towards the middle of all the chaos as she helped Kakashi to his feet. He had been knocked down from all the running of students in order to stay clear of whatever was causing the panic.

Soldiers gathered in numbers. Kakashi never knew there were even soldiers until today.
