The question was one of the simplest that anyone could get asked, but it is the hardest to answer right now for the master. How could he tell his dear friend, he sought for the wizard at Shinjuya? Shinjuya was the mother country to many nations. It housed the Krep Nation (also known as the Fire Nation), Juisah, and Hokona Nations among many others. How could he look his friend in the eye and cause him more harm and pain? He could not do that. It was a lasting feeling the emperor still battled. This might be his greatest battle yet. Master Yonda was brought back from his deep thoughts as a strange hand touched him. “Yes?” He blinked “Are you okay, dear friend?” The emperor asked, concern written all over his voice.“Yes. Yes, I am. I was just trying as much as I could to devise another plan.” Master Yonda smiled at the emperor.“One would think with all your magic and magicians, you would have worked less hard but no, here you are being the same Tam.” The emperor smiled as his hand
“Found it,” Tanya announced as she looked at her weapon with so much joy and relief on her face. It was more than just a weapon to her, it was a family bond. It was a test of friendship that had extended to being a part of her. The weapon was her, and she was the weapon. She came back from the studious search she had engaged in, holding the weapon tightly in her hands. She swung it with dexterity.“Hey, watch it,” Daichi complained. “Why? Jealous?” Tanya fired back“Jealous? Pfft... I had to duck to save my head. There is nothing to be jealous about” Daichi responded.“I think it wasn’t the chaos monster,” Kakashi brought their attention to the main focus of the gathering. “Why do you sound so sure?” Jiro asked, rising to his feet.“Because...” Kakashi looked at everyone’s prying eyes. He cleared his throat, “Well because I saw someone looking at me secretly from a safe distance when I was alone.” “Wait, hold on a second. You were alone?!” Daichi was curious and rightfully so.“A
“What does he think he is doing?” Kakashi asked Daichi’s footsteps were short and calm as air. He continued his movement toward the figures who weren’t so far away anymore. He took two more steps and suddenly, fog covered his vision. He stood straight, confused. He turned back to see his friends, but there was nothing in sight. All he saw was the light cloud that hovered all over him. “What is he doing?” Kakashi asked as they all watched Daichi stop suddenly. “I think... wait, no!” Zoa dashed toward Daichi. Air was caught in her hands as she swung her arm from a close distance to drag Daichi from the same pattern that had gotten her sister. “N—noooooooooo!” Her shout woke up half the students that lay in bed; Jiro came rushing, he cheated friction with the expert stop he got on his feet. “What is it? Why did you scream?” Jiro looked at Zoa. Zoa was on her knees, her neck bent over her body as her head hung in the air. Her face was swollen and her eyes puffed like an eruption
Woosh... “What just happened, Jiro? A person shouldn’t be able to jump in there because they choose to, no?” Zoa rose to the face of Jiro in protest. The atmosphere was filled with questions from each mind and tongue. The willingness and ability of Kakashi to have been able to do what he had just done was impossible.“You brought him here, who is he?” Zoa was curious to know the kind of person Jiro had brought. The perseverance in his face and the knowing glances others gave him were enough to not dribble their concerns. He knew he had no answers for most of what they sought answers for, but he couldn’t tell them a lot he knew and they wanted to know. “Talk to us!” The scream from the voice of Zoa reminded Jiro he needed to still answer. His answer didn’t have to be the answer. He just needed to answer. Hopefully, convincing enough. The airbrushed through his head, combing his spiky hair as it left crumbs of leaves on it. Jiro took a deep breath, rehearsing his answers in his head
“Kakashi!” The piercing scream of excitement from Tanya moved heads toward the direction in which her legs took off. A strange violent wind of ice, rather than dust, had blown to the surprise of everyone. Students were not in the circle, but they loitered around. The screams and cries had kept them awake. How could they sleep? Their doctor had just died. To get to where these screams came from, you had to pass by the gory sight of the doctor’s brutal death as if the attack by the chaos monsters days before wasn’t enough. Kakashi rose to his feet weakly. He held his right side with his left hand, gingerly walking with the aid of Tanya’s shoulders. Tanya brought him from the disappearing location to where they all were, still plotting how to go about their return. Jiro knew Kakashi was special, but he did not expect him to return with Daichi. If he had returned alone, it wouldn’t have taken him aback, but him and Daichi? That was incredible. He stood in awe of his abilities, watching
Jiro Shoei’s eyes lit up endlessly. He couldn’t believe he was able to be with Syouei again. He looked to the heavens, praying to whoever existed up there. ‘’Thank you.’’The day may not have started brightly as his face looked right now, but he never thought he would get the opportunity to see Syouei again. ‘So if this could work, does it mean other things can be corrected too?’ He thought of other things he could change as he pondered within his crowded mind. The feathers in his steps, the glow in his eyes, and the electricity that ran through his body were one of a kind. First time in a long time he was like that. “Jun.” His countenance briefly switched. He looked for an opportunity, if any, to get back with Jun. It would be a miracle to be with Syouei and Jun again. It was already a miracle to be with Syouei now. “Man! A lot has happened since...” Jiro tilted his head and cleared his throat. It wasn’t the time to talk about sad things like that; especially now that Syouei was
“After our punishment, I refused to join her to sneak out like we used to. I missed it, and it became a problem in our friendship. Our friendship was drowning and it fought to be saved. I had no one anymore, she could have the whole school if she wanted. After a while and a deep thought, I told her after training to meet me outside at night. I was lonely, I missed her.” A tear rolled down Jiro’s right cheek. “I really wish I hadn’t. I should have just remained lonely. I shouldn’t have tried what I did. I just wanted my friend back. I am sorry.” His head faced down in disappointment and in guilt of what had happened.“Whatever happened, you do not need to beat yourself too much about it. This happened a long time ago. You can forgive yourself Jiro.” Syouei moved closer to him. He put his arm around Jiro’s shoulders. The sound of his regret continued in the form of his head calling back the tears that streamed from his nostrils. “It was not a long time ago; it still feels like yesterd
“...I couldn’t save her. Even if I wanted to, I didn’t know how to. Nobody knew. Nobody still knows. Except... Kakashi.”All eyes turned toward Kakashi whose teeth chattered and his body shivered with uncontrollable frequency. Kakashi looked on with raised brows and cold lips. He couldn’t reply. There was nothing he did that he knew. He just saw an opening he could take, and he used the opportunity to take it. There was no other explanation for it. He thought of all this but he couldn’t say it. He just wrapped the blankets around himself as tight as he could. Daichi’s eyes were still closed, and his body shivered in patches; this got Zoa and Tanya worried. They were happy to have him back, alive, all thanks to Kakashi who got in to save him.“So how did you recover again?” Tanya’s gaze ventured into the afterthought of the stranger being back conscious. He was out for the longest, but he was now back. He stood tall, taller than everyone in the room as he stared at Jiro who was now
