Chapter 64

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the landscape. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, carrying with it the scent of blooming flowers. The evening was mild, wrapping everything in a soft embrace, inviting peace and tranquillity to settle in.

Zoa changed her mind in the direction where she would sit as she saw Kakashi sitting alone in the largely empty canteen. It wasn’t time for students to eat, but Kakashi hadn’t resumed properly after the heroic efforts that had further crowned him with more popularity among the Godlinkers High faithful.

Zoa was also done with her training. She finished up earlier than her other two fellow tutors. She hadn’t seen Kakashi all day so she looked for him everywhere she could, to no avail, until now. She was happy to catch him up in the canteen.

“Boo!” she shouted from behind his ears, catching Kakashi off guard.
