Chapter 96

His jacket was carried to each side by the wind. His hands were tucked in each other, behind his frame. His spiky hair refused to be disturbed by the air that breathed profusely.

Suke turned to face the feet that brushed through the ground toward him. "Welcome. I was hoping to see you soon."

"Why would you want to see us? Is the punishment not for a day?" Kakashi peered at Suke.

"Yes. It was. I suppose you have not forgotten what I told you?" Suke faced back to watch what he was observing.

"You told me many things. Which of those words do you want me to remember?" Kakashi folded his hands across his chest.

"You remember what happened yesterday?" Suke asked with a smile.

"What… what happened?" Kakashi stuttered. His face grew pale, doing a bad job of feigning his concern.

"What else happened? It had to be the attack." Jay answered the concerned looks that plastered over Kakashi's face.
