Victor folded his hands together, thinking about what he was going to tell Esther. He knew he had to tell her that he wouldn’t be able to show up for the interview to get the job, and he also knew he had limited time to complete the mission. What he could do now is plead with Esther and hope that she agrees to give him the job after he heals. Victor pressed the key, and his bike started making a sound as he knew the exact location where the bike was. They walked towards the bike and stood next to it. The bike was dark blue and had a huge box in front of it that looked like a storage space.“You know how to ride a bike, right?” Spencer asked softly.“Of course,” he answered. Victor got his driver’s license a couple of years ago. Even though he doesn’t own a car, he used to work as a driver for rich individuals, but he got fired, and that was when he started working as a cleaner at the software company.“That’s great; now I will show you how to use the app on the phone,” Spencer said with a smile as he told Victor to give him the phone. Spencer started explaining how the delivery app works. Did you get a five-star review?” Spencer cut him off.“It was terrible; I got a two-star review,” he answered in a low tone.“Oh my gosh, what happened?” Spencer asked as he turned to look at Victor. Victor got his third order as he went to make the delivery. He got a five-star rating from the customer after making the delivery. He got back to the office and sat down in the waiting room as he pushed the green button, waiting for his next order. He had a bright smile across his lips; he was feeling very confident in his way of doing things, and he was happy that he was now getting the five-star ratings that he badly needed. His fourth order came in as he went to get the package and go make the delivery. On delivering the package, he told the customer to give him five-star ratings. He got the five-star rating and went back to the company, but now it was late and his shift was over. He quickly remembered what Spencer had advised him about working two shifts if he ever wanted to become employee of the month. He went to the lady who was behind the front counter. I’m in front of the house; can you come out?” He asked calmly.“No, bring the package inside for me, darling; the front door is opened,” she answered in a slurry tone.“Are you sure?” He inquired; he wanted to be sure that he had permission to go into the house.“Of course, if I am not sure, I won’t tell you to come inside,” she answered.“Okay, I’m bringing the package now,” he muttered as he ended the call.
