It's the same dream. A baby in a crib and is hearing loud noises. What is causing those loud and piercing cries? What exactly is happening. And then, the same man, who has something red and thick trickling down his face is looking down at the baby in the crib. He was muttering something, but it was being muffled by the loud claps of thunder because of the storm outside. 5 days have passed since the incident and is now the for the burial of the 6 people who died in the battle. Kendrick is now standing in front of the graves of his family as they are being lowered beneath them. There were a lot of people who attended the interment of his family. And most of them are normal people that is saying their respects for the priest. But some of them made Kendrick’s blood boil. Because some of those who attended were the people who shunned Father Edgar and was the sole reason why the church closed. The ones who stole the donations for the church and used it for their own gain. They blamed it all to Father Edgar, that’s why as punishment, the government shut the church down and labeled Father Edgar as a corrupt priest. It just makes Kendrick’s skin crawl by the fact that they had the nerve to show up in front of the man they betrayed and tarnished. Meanwhile, in the school clinic. Vincent is now laid on the bed and was resting. Next to him is the Philips twins, and the girl he saved is still unconscious. The nurse asked Champ to leave since he still has a class to attend to, Champ agreed and left the room. The nurse then grabbed a clean wet cloth to clean Vincent’s wound. And when she was about to dab it on him, she realized that there are no wounds. It’s just blood. The whole swordsmen and women community got immediately alerted as some have confirmed that there is something weird going on in the academy. And another is that the students have not been evacuated yet, instead, the school has gone into lockdown which prevents the students from leaving. And even if they can, it is too dangerous as shady people are now in that academy. Kendra was worrying about her mother, but the swordsmen and women have prevented them and ordered them to not follow as it is for their safety also. They have been exposed to battle last time, and the swordsmen and women won’t let it happen again. This time, they will be the ones to fight this battle to save the others. And besides, the commander pointed out that the two aces of this group of students are too tired and the other was injured to even turn his body properly, so, it would be best for them to just stay put for now and wait for further instructions. And it was a good thing that some swordsmen and women are experts in medical works, that is why Kendrick is having a successful operation. Meanwhile, Sylvester is being questioned for their action, as they literally violated a law when they went out the walls without having a slayer license. The punishment for that law breaking act of them would be 15 years in prison, or even execution at worst. However, since Sylvester told them that they had no choice but to go around to survive, the others just let this one slide and asked everybody in this area to keep their mouths shut about this matter. But still, everyone is just surprised to see those 2 inexperienced students successfully without getting themselves killed at the first place.
