VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Last Deal
Proceeding out of your hidden zone wasn't the best way to go but Williams had practically no choice at this point. She had been hoping for a break and now that he had the opportunity to learn his hands on it he wasn't there to let it slip off his fingers. “I am heading south. You should catch up with me. I am in a black SUV.” Ethan explained. “Alright, then. I'll be there.”Ethan contacted Jada immediately who had begged him to make him know when her opponent was coming out. “He is already heading my way but I don't want you to do anything yet. He doesn't trust me and we have to ensure that he does, if he keeps on suspecting me what good is that? It is only going to complicate issues and that is the last thing I want.” He reminded her. Jada tapped her feet in anticipation of further destroying Williams reputation. She just needed to get footage that she could spread lies about and also involve Cassandra who was trying to leave now that she realized that she probably might be in a

William stamped his foot on the ground, weighing his options. It was a little bit great to start weight but he could already foresee the end of this bargain. "Make me a better offer and I wouldn't hesitate." He demanded, his fingers crossed as he waited for what he had planned to come to pass and then he would be able to deflect every form of tyranny that came with his association with Ethan. Ethan laughed, a little bit perplexed that this man in front of him still didn't understand that he had a lot of ideas on his mind. "Let me break this down to you in case you have suddenly forgotten your current dilemma. You are one of the worst people in the world right now, and everyone is looking for a better way of serving you justice; if I can help you find a way of pleading not guilty, you would have to do everything that I say. It isn't even negotiable." "Yeah, right. I would have believed this if I didn't have other plans up my sleeves. I think you are only trying to take advantage of

Ethan saw the conflicting look on his opponent's face and figured out that he had already clocked in. He just needed to push a little bit, and this man would fall into his trap, and then it would be a done deal, and everybody would part ways. Then he would have the sole ability to do whatever he wanted and get away with it. Most importantly, Williams wanted to take revenge and that was his opening. "I see you as a man who wants revenge at all costs, but you found no one to trust you or attempt to assist you. Would you allow the fear of me winning to overcome you instead of figuring out how you would be able to do the same? Come on, you, of all people, should be smarter than that." The instructions were clear: Ethan wanted to rule every affair related to Williams, and he had a choice of letting that happen or standing ground and making sure that this didn't continue. "You must think that I am a fool not to understand what you are driving at and how this would work right? It's a
VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Humble Agreement
Ethan's hands trembled as he walked toward Cassandra Paige's office. The salary deduction notice had arrived that morning—another blow he couldn't afford. Missing the monthly quota meant his already meager paycheck would shrink further, and with his mounting debts, he had no idea how he'd make it through the month. He knocked on the heavy oak door, his heart pounding. A cold "Enter" was all he got in response.Cassandra Paige sat behind her massive desk, not bothering to look up from her tablet as he entered. The morning light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows cast her in sharp relief—expensive suit, perfect posture, an air of dismissive authority that made the spacious office feel suffocating."Ms. Paige, about the salary deduction—" Ethan began, fighting to keep his voice steady."You failed to meet your quota," she cut him off, still not looking up. "The deduction stands.""Please, I can explain—""Your explanation won't change the numbers, Mr. Moore." She finall
VOWS OF VENGEANCE Cold Reception
However, Ethan looked at the big house one last time before getting into his car. The thought of saying no to Cassandra Paige was all he could think about. But he was trapped, she was his boss and it was either he said yes or got sacked the following day. He was lost in thought as he drove back to his modest apartment. Everything about Cassandra Paige’s world was different—polished, calculated, and cold. He wondered if he would ever fit into that life. The next day, Ethan received a text from Cassandra. It was short and precise: “We’ll make the announcement tomorrow. Wear something appropriate. No arguments.” Ethan sighed. He had agreed to this arrangement, but Cassandra’s tone already grated on him. She hadn’t bothered to ask if he was ready or comfortable. This wasn’t a partnership; it was a command. He went through his closet, eventually settling on the best suit he owned. It was slightly outdated and worn, but it would have to do. The next evening, Ethan found himself s
VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Chains That Binds
The house felt suffocated but the idea of him living in the Paige’s family house was more than suffocating for Ethan. He couldn’t move freely in the house without the servants taking down at him. He felt more like a slave in his own house. But it was comforting with the contract he had signed. Ethan knew it was just a year, and it was only a matter of time before it lapsed. He didn’t understand why Cassandra had orchestrated the marriage anyway. All he knew was that he was picked out of many men who were in the company. Ethan was given a post in the organization just to make him look good. Everyone knows that the list meant nothing as Ethan would just sit down ideally without doing anything. He lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. He has had a long day, and he needed all the rest. The door to his room opened gently. He looked at the time and looked back at Cassandra, who was putting on a beautiful velvet gown. He watched her as she took off her clothes. His eyes darted towards
VOWS OF VENGEANCE The Weight Of Pretense
Ethan looked at Cassandra, and his face went pale. “Slow down, Father.” She said, staring at Ethan. She could see that he was scared. “Can we have a moment to ourselves?” Cassandra looked at her father and then at her mother. “Sure. But don’t forget we have an appointment. Don’t keep us waiting.” Tiffany looked at her daughter before they walked away. Ethan couldn’t hold it anymore. He was like a time bomb waiting to blow up. “What was that?” He looked at Cassandra. “This wasn’t part of the contract, was it?” “Can you keep your voice down?” Cassandra looked at his face. It was evident that she was scared. “Keep my voice down? Did you even listen to yourself? What happened to my bills? Don’t tell me you cut me off simply because I voiced my opinion last night.” Cassandra looked at her feet like some spoiled brat. “Oh my god!. I can’t believe you would do this to me.” Ethan said he was getting fed up already. “It is bad that you and your family humiliate me whenever you feel lik

Everything happened so fast. Both lay on the bed, breathing heavily. Ethan looked beside him to see that Cassandra was fast asleep. He gently got up with a white bedspread around him and walked into the bathroom to have his bath. He looked at her once and again before he drifted into a long sleep. [THE NEXT DAY] The loud noise of Cassandra woke him up. “What did you do to me?” She asked with anger. Ethan yawned; he felt so tired, but the lash he received on his back sent an electric jolt to his brain. He opened his eyes in a hurry. “What is it, Cassandra?” Ethan looked at her. “Are you seriously asking me that?” Cassandra said, fuming in anger. She opened the bedspread again and saw she was naked. “Did we?” She looked at him anxiously.“Are you asking if we had sex?” Ethan asked, not sure of what to tell her. “You know what I mean, Ethan, and don't you play dumb with me!” “You got home yesterday and you were drunk. You asked for this,“ Ethan said immediately trying to defend hims

Kick Offs
Williams looked right and left before he could cross the road just to see if anyone was coming behind him or trying to find out where he was about to move to. Ethan watched him from the car where he sat, wondering how this man intended to break out of prison without going through the normal way of pleading. His phone started to ring and he laughed in wordly. This was the best way to deal with people who felt like they had an idea of how life should work instead he was going to make him realize that things didn't go smoothly all the time. “I can see you already in the restaurant, why don't you walk to the car? You don't want to be caught in an open place, do you?” Williams hung up immediately and looked around trying to figure out where Ethan was watching from. Ethan loved the show of shame because now Williams was going to fear him even without saying a word. Williams, mustering courage, called back just to be sure that he was talking to the right person. “I would love to meet

“THE HEADLINES: A MAN WAS SEEN TRYING TO BREAK OUT OF PRISON AND WAS CONVICTED. RUMORS SAY THAT IT WAS THE FORMER BUSINESS MOGUL, BUT WE ARE YET TO GET ANY INFORMATION.” Ethan watched the news the next day, with a slight shake of his head. There was absolutely no way it wasn't true because Jada had informed him before then.Miranda came in just in time to see the news flashing on the screen and was a little bit confused. “Don't tell me that it is Williams over there.” She said, taking a seat beside him. “I don't see any reason why he should try to break out when he knows that everyone is already fixated on him and what his next move should be. I don't know why he doesn't want to keep his head low. Does he still want to contact us?” She got on speaking. Ethan wasn't in the mood to indulge her or talk right now because he was trying to figure out William's next move. “According to the news like you have seen, it has not been confirmed so we shouldn't be found talking about something
Locked Away
Williams thought about his previous life and how things suddenly went downhill for him. All of this started when she decided to employ Jada. She was the one who ruined his life to the point where it currently was. There was absolutely no way that he was going to be able to be free from this mess if he didn't stand his ground and make sure that she no longer had power over him. He stroked his beards gently, thinking of how things began. She was the only picture that was coming into his mind and at that point there was absolutely nothing he could do to erase it. It was more of an introspective way of thinking as to why things got destroyed beyond repair and how he had lost in the grand scheme of things. "You shouldn't bother yourself about thinking about the past. It's all the matter of time before things begin to work normally. The moment you are able to take out the fact that you need revenge you will be able to be free." Somebody called through the other side of the prison
A failed Plan. (I)
As much as he wanted to prove to himself that he was more than any one who was trying to help him he also knew that there were a lot of things that needed to be assigned. One of them included acting like he didn't have any choice or hope to be free. All the jobs assigned to him the previous day were done with so much enthusiasm that even the fellow inmates were a little suspicious of his new attitude. It wasn't as easy as he posed it to be but at the same time he also faked an apology to demand he had been engaged in an altercation with. His excuse was that he had a bad day and that was why he went off for a man who had done nothing to hurt him. Williams waited patiently counting his breath as the warden moved around to take roll calls as usual. It ended up in a state of nothingness followed by a large breakdown as the warden stopped in front of his cell, looking at him keenly. "Williams, come out!" He commanded.
Enemy's pardon
Williams stood in front of the ledge his eyes roaming about as he contemplated suicide. There was absolutely nothing for him to live for and the proposition that his enemy had brought up was nothing to write home about. He would rather grovel at the feet of someone he didn't know than to allow Ethan to win him. It wasn't something he had envisaged but, sending him to wash the latrines was not the way to go or leave his life. "Mate, you still think of yourself as high and mighty don't you? Why don't you do something else that helps you out instead of hoping or thinking that you will be able to break out? It's not as easy as it is portrayed in movies!" Someone clapped him at the back and held his hands. He looks at the man who stared at him lewdly. He was up to no good and he wasn't about to become a victim in a place where he should be victorious. "I think that all of you are just perverts looking for ways to fuel your perverseness. I
Bailing The Enemy (ii)
Ethan moved in such a way that a lot of people were kind of confused by his movement. He refused to grant interviews like they had expected and only hoped that he was going to come up one of these days and show off but he refused instead he focused on what was more important which was silling deals right left and center and making sure that people trusted him more than the rest of the people. It was going to become a herculean task for him to deal with and the only reason that he was going to be away was simply because he didn't want anything to be tied to him. He would prefer just going away and hoping that no one was able to understand whatever he was going through. The only reason he decided to deal with situations properly was to make sure that he didn't have any casualties whatsoever. If he was able to stop people from handling situations in such a manner that was going to land him in trouble he would take it over wasting time.
