Miranda's parents stood at the doorway, gazing at their child in horror. They would never have imagined that they would be in such a situation where they would beg for their child's sanity.

"Good to see you, Pops, Ma." She responded casually like she didn't understand the reason why they were here. "I never knew that you were coming in so soon I will have made preparations for you. I hope you are not saddened by my actions. I can still take you out for lunch if you don't mind." She said, brushing off the elephant in the room.
