James took a deep breath, nodded slowly, and then let go of his father's embrace. "I'm just reminding you, Dad."

However, William didn't pay much attention to his son's words. James immediately led him back to his room.

"Rest first, Dad."

"No, James. I have to finish my work at the office now." The 32-year-old man walked towards his workspace and started working from home, even though he wasn't fully recovered yet.

The teenager sighed and shook his head, watching his foster father chuckle at his decision. He was about to walk out, but William called him. James walked towards his father and asked, "What's up, Dad?"

"You promised to always stay with your dad, right?"

"What about Grandpa? He really hates me now."

William smiled and told him that his grandfather had accepted him back. This was all because of William's stubborn attitude, otherwise, their relationship might have been severed by now. Hearing this made James happy. He wouldn't disappoint them, he already had other plans.
