Chapter eighty

"Why don't you want to tell us who you are? You already know everything about us and you can trust us too." Tamira said.

"I am afraid I cannot do that. My identity must remain a secret." I replied.

"But why?" Tamira asked. I came closer to Tamira and looked her straight in the eyes, "I cannot tell you who I am right now. But I can assure you that you will not regret being my wife.

We stared at each other for a full minute before Alex's voice broke in and we snapped out of it, " Don't tell me you are thinking about considering what he said." Alex said to Tamira.

"I don't know why Alex, but I trust him," Tamira replied to Alex.

"I will follow with what you want as long as you can assure me we will get divorced once I find Devon," Tamira said to me.

Her words were so touching. She never forgot me even after those five months of uncertainty if I would return or not. However, I will make sure to tell her everything once this is all over.

"It's a deal," I said and shook her hand.
