Chapter forty two

"Did you send the houseboy out to get a charger for you?" Mrs. Wilson asked Tamira. Tamira was going to look at me but her mother wasn't making it easy for her.

My heart was pounding as I eagerly waited for Tamira's answer, "yes" Tamera answered Mrs. Wilson.

I opened my eyes which I had tightened shut and felt like a heavy weight was just lifted from me.

"I sent him to buy me a charger. I'm buying it for one of my friends whose charger I cut so..." Tamira said to her mother.

"Hold on." Mrs. Tamira said, moving away from the hand in which she held the charger so Tamira won't take it.

"You sent him to buy the charger. I'm not arguing with that. But then, why did he have to take it from inside his room?" Mrs. Wilson questioned.

"Uhh..." Tamira hung her mouth open, not sure of what to say.

"Well?" Mrs. Wilson urged and crossed her arms in victory.

"It was yesterday madam. I forgot to give it to miss Tamira here and it was later after she asked for it today that I remembered. And b
