Chapter fourteen

"None. I haven't heard from her for two days now. I figured something must be wrong somewhere." I answered Jason.

"Do you think we should check on her? Or maybe her parents won't let her out?" Jason asked me.

"Maybe," I repeated the word. "Anyways, for now, I just want to finish eating what my friend brought me," I said and Jason laughed.

"Sadly, they won't give u jobs just because we look like we can't handle it or we look like we'd steal their money and run away," Jason said.

"Or because we look like we will chase the customers away with our stench. Jason, not even a pig rearer would hire us." I said and laughed.

"But still, is it not people with needs that look for jobs? If we had jobs that pay well we wouldn't look like this. And if only the money they gathered and said it would be donated to the poor was given to the poor. People can tell all sorts of lies in politics." I said.
